CLAMP Campus Detectives - Fluff!

Setting: CLAMP Campus High School Student Government Room
Characters: Nokoru Imonoyama, Suoh Takamura, Akira Ijyuin

ACT I

<Suoh glances at a picture of Nagisa that is on his desk>
<Suoh looks at Akira, and at the picture of Utako on his desk>
<Suoh looks at Nokoru's desk, where Nokoru is for once actually quietly doing 
 paperwork - there is no picture on Nokoru's desk>
<Suoh looks thoughtful>
Nokoru: What is it, Suoh?
Suoh (mostly to himself): Hmm... I wonder if Kaichou is gay....
<Nokoru falls behind his desk with a loud "THUD!!">
<Nokoru crawls back up, LARGE sweat drop on the side of his head>
Nokoru: Su-Suoh....

ACT II

Akira: 'Gay' means 'happy, right?  I think Kaichou is certainly happy....
<Nokoru and Suoh stare, sweat drops beading on the sides of their heads>
Nokoru: I don't think that was what Suoh meant, Akira....
Akira: Oh?  What did you mean, Takamura-sempai?
<Nokoru and Suoh exchange glances>
Nokoru: Tell him, why don't you, Suoh?
<Suoh turns bright red>
Suoh: No!
<Akira looks puzzled and clueless>

ACT III

<The three are sitting back at their desks, Nokoru and Suoh working, while 
 Akira appears distracted>
Akira (finally): Kaichou, could you please tell me what Takamura-sempai *did* 
 mean by 'gay,' then?
Nokoru: You really want to know, Akira?
Akira: Yes, please.
Nokoru: It might embarrass Suoh....
Suoh (ignoring them, concentrating on his paperwork): Tell him if you want.
<Nokoru shrugs>
Nokoru: It's when a man 'likes' another man.
<Akira appears clueless>
Akira: You mean like how I like you and Takamura-sempai, Kaichou?
<Suoh thuds! forward onto his desk>
<Nokoru laughs>
Nokoru: No, not like that, Akira.  More like how you 'like' Utako-san.
Akira: Oh.

ACT IV

<Order appears to be restored; the three are peacefully doing the paperwork>
Akira: ... Kaichou?
Nokoru: Yes, Akira?
Akira: ... *Are* you gay?
<Nokoru thuds! onto his desk>
