Tonight, A Night, One Night by Kristin Huntsman Eyes of blue and green, now a hazel red with anger... with pain... with guilt... and with blood.... The slick blood coated Seishirou's fingers even as the beautiful, fragile eyes flushed with crimson momentarily. All the beautiful emotions flooded his mind: relief, release, an ending, closure.... "Subaru-kun," he whispered, supposting the boy with both the hand through his center and the other on his back as they both went to their knees, Subaru dying. Dying. "Forgive me, Subaru-kun," Seishirou whispered, breaking one of the binds on Subaru's memory. * * * Tokyo Tower at night was very... interesting. Especially being locked in with Seishirou-san, Subaru thought to himself, looking out over the soft lights of the city. He sometimes wondered about his friend, who professed great love for him, yet consistently teased him to the point of where he began blushing and stammering. Seishirou-san was so kind and intelligent and interesting, but sometimes Subaru wondered who he really was, how Seishirou-san truly felt about him. "Subaru-kun." Subaru looked up and away from the window. Seishirou had moved right behind him without his noticing. "What are you thinking of?" Seishirou asked, gently winding his arms around him. Subaru tensed, then forced himself to relax, sensing no malice in the gesture. "Nothing much," Subaru responded, looking back out at the city. "Just things, Seishirou-san." "Mmm," Seishirou replied softly. "So we're locked in and your work is finished. Have you anything to do?" "I brought a deck of cards...." * * * Another crystal binding broke. * * * Subaru lay warmly in Seishirou's arms, his heartbeat almost level again. He felt just tired enough to drift off into sleep, but Seishirou-san's light nuzzling of his hair kept him peacefully awake. He wasn't quite sure what had happened.... As he tried to recall, his eyes slowly drifted shut regardless of Seishirou's light, familiar touches. "Subaru-kun." Seishirou's soft speaking of his name kept Subaru from drifting into sleep entirely. "Mmm?" Subaru drowsily questioned. "Are you content?" "Yes," Subaru replied on his next breath. "That's good," Seishirou whispered. "Mmm," agreed Subaru, drifting relaxedly into dreams. Seishirou paused, feeling Subaru's exhausted form fall asleep in his arms, then whispered "I like you, Subaru-kun." * * * "I like you, Subaru-kun," Seishirou whispered, then broke the last tie that he had set on Subaru's memory of that night. * * * Subaru gasped and trembled, his body caught up in sensations he couldn't quite understand, couldn't quite get a grasp on or control.... He moaned in almost-pain as Seishirou's hand caressed his flat stomach, tracing lightly over the definitions of his muscles, then curving upwards even as a gentle kiss touched the side of his neck from behind. Seishirou's teeth ran lightly up his neck while a soft breath ruffled through Subaru's hair. "Seishirou...san..." he moaned. "Subaru-kun," Seishirou whispered in reply, fingers lightly tracing up the inside of Subaru's thigh even as his other hand massaged the small of Subaru's back, making him relax slightly. Subaru moaned again as Seishirou's hips rocked up, driving him further in. he thought, whimpering as a new wave of pleasure crashed over him, Seishirou's hand moved to stroke him, playing around his length and tip, and Subaru suddenly gasped for breath as all his muscles tightened involuntarily and he was slammed into again with an intense wave of pleasure. Seishirou gasped and continued playing with Subaru, his breathing more labored than before. Subaru whimpered, writhing as Seishirou's fingers played over his body, heightening the sensations until he couldn't take the pleasure anymore. "Seishirou...san," he whimpered as the pleasure overtook him and with release came blessed darkness. ********* Author's Ramblings: This story is based upon two things, the first of which is the infamous Seishirou-killing-Subaru poster, which is now hanging on my wall, and of which I did an analysis that scared Eagle-chan. The second thing this is based on is the events of TB vol. 1, specifically the morning after Subaru and Seishirou were locked into Tokyo Tower (CLAMP must pay a lot of money to the city or whoever, given how often they "rent" the Tower to "shoot" mangas and animes there!). Okay, who can I blame? My own etchi self, obviously. Also Kanoe-san, for reading me that part of the TB vol. 1 translation over the phone and shamelessly speculating, Subaru-san for sending her the translations and instructing that I was to read them at some point to make my stories more accurate, Eagle-chan for various reasons which she knows, Stephanie-chan for enjoying my stories, RR for everything, Steven-san for hanging out with us at AX, making this year's con particularly memorable, and giving me a favorite TB truism, and my cat, for being a constant when things change inside me so easily.
