He felt at ease, he knew this sensation very well and found it somehow exciting. He spoke- Say my name. -Alessandro De Rossi- she answered toneless. -Name this place. -Takada robotic division, Newport City. -Tell me your name. -Eva- she had a hint of smile on her lips. He stroked her long black hair slowly, feeling them wet as he held her against his right arm; he saw her skin, glistening from the liquid she was covered with, coming from the pool for nano sensibility.1 Her body was perfect, like everyone he had seen before, there were no imperfection in his work, there could not be. He caressed her cheek and took a little disc device that he put on her forehead, 2 she slowly closed her eyes and drifted into a peaceful sleep. He activated the motorized crane and lifted her body in the air, while more red fluid fell from her alabaster skin; as the crane stopped he moved it and positioned the body over a little bed, then lowered it. He freed her from the plastic belts she was wrapped with and let her rest on the dark green sinthetic skin surface; he took a pad from the side of the bed metal structure and begun to fill the form on it. While he crossed each case, sure of his job he arrived to the last line. "Number of identification and specialization Asked/Not asked " 3 he had a bit of a hesitation, like everytime he had to fill this form; Why the hell did he never ask it? He knew he was building an android, so it did not matter if he had asked it about its codenumber. The truth was he felt everytime like a dad proud of his new son or daughter, so this question somehow felt cynical and misplaced in that contest. -Tamiko-kun?- He asked searching for his assistant around the room; she was at the right side of the bed and examining the body, she did not rise to meet his eyes. -Hmmm? -Er... I... -You forgot to ask her, her number again, right?- She smiled and looked at him, her black gem like eyes enquired him playfully behind her little glasses - I wonder why you forget it everytime. -Er, do you think we ought to wake her again? She sighed and took the form from his hand, then crossed the "Asked" case and signed her part of the form as witness; then she gave it back to him shaking her head and smiling warmly, even if a bit irritated. He blushed slightly and signed the form, then put it back at his place at the side of the bed -What time is it?- He asked. -19:45- Tamiko answered looking at her little watch on the front of her wrist. -I told you to take it off while we work.- He grumbled. -And how could I tell you the time if I did?- She answered swiftly, giggling. He nodded, defeated- All right, we are out of here, as soon as we clean the mess.- he looked at the room, full of instruments and electronical devices, each of which seemed somehow out of place- Then, we are going out and have some fun. He rubbed his hands and smiled, looking at her. She did not answer and coldly looked at him, she seemed embarassed- We?- She asked. -Plurale maiestatis.- He answered. -Oh- She nodded, a little hurt. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -19:45 commander.- She heard from a voice in front and below her. -I know, check the central line, and if it's alright start to turn the vehicle and head for the station.- she answered checking the little computer on her left side; it showed a map of the streets in the quarter and a little blinking point informed her of their position. She turned her neck slowly to the left and to the right to loosen it a bit. A normal human being would get really tense and cramped in a little space like the one she was occupying right then, but she did not feel her chair was uncomfortable at all. And for the fact it was a narrow space, well it made her feel more sure than the room you could have in a car. Yes. For sure there was nothing that made her feel as sure and protected as to know she was sitting on the turret chair of Bonaparte, safely behind its five inch thick armor. She smiled and noted how wonderfully she had everything by her hands, under control. Her seat had a clutch as main control system in front of her and any other information she needed was on her left on her two screens and touchpads. She gave a quick look at the periscope in front of her. The street started to get crowded, it was time for them to get back, it was true that Bonaparte was not much larger than a normal station wagon ( even if much taller actually), but the higher speed it could reach was sixty or around that, if they get caught in the traffic it would be really a slow down. After all it was always a Tank! She felt her finger brush against the trigger of the twenty millimeter cannon and smiled, drunk from the sensation of power it always gave her. She looked at a car at the end of the street and noticed there was something strange. She used the magnification system and in a second her periscope gave her the image of the car twenty times sharper and wider. She twitched her mouth in disgust as she saw the loose-cover of the front seats Then she understood why the car disturbed her so, besides the front seat, sure. The moron that owned the car had parked out of the consented place and was a serious threat for traffic. A idea materialized in her head and before she could even refuse it she had already targeted the car and was ready for shooting. She smiled evily and thought , while she brushed the trigger. She knew she could not miss it even with her hand tied behind her back. A excited voice interrupted her thoughts- Are you going to shoot commander? Cool! Go on I'll watch! Leona Ozaki snapped back to reality and leaned against the seat glancing at the wild mass of blonde hair and the two cat like ears that emerged from it. Well, thanks God there was someone on this Earth that liked her way of conducting her tank. -No Anna.I cannot.- She sighed. -Come on, I will tell it was a accident!- She cried excited. -I say no! Call the traffic division and give them the plate- She looked into the periscope- ADV- 6578. Yes, that's it. -Aw, you're no fun! It would be fun to have something different tonight! -You mean a slaughter?- she asked puzzled; well after all she was not more sure that it was good that someone loved her way to conduct her tank, not if it meant to have a psycopath as crew. -Who do you think you're speaking to?- She seemed really offended- You were aiming at the car and there is no one around! -The explosion could almost wipe out the shops on the corner in that block.4 -What are you telling? A Sanma right into that car motor and it will be blown away without a splitter, delicate as a kiss 5- She kissed the air and shuddered in excitement- Come on do it! Please! -No!- She began to get nervous. -Shall I do it?- She asked hopefully, touching her trigger. -I SAID NO! TRANSMIT THAT DAMN FILE TO THE TRAFFIC LADS AND IT'S ENOUGH! OVER AND OUT! -Umpffffh, you're REALLY no fun. Here, done, are you satisfied? -Thanks a lot!- she answered irritated as they passed by the told car; she'ld have betted that she never seen a car that seemed so relieved in her life... Anna pouted, then sighed heavily- What's that?- She asked as her mood started to sink under her feet. -Back to the paper work and what have I to write? "Gave a ticket to a car instead of blasting it to pieces", man is it grim! -Paper work?- She tried not to burst in laughs- Since when do you do something like that? Your sister always charges herself with writing your report! -Hey if she's guarding a desk there would be a reason, no?- She noted sharply. -I always thought it was because you're half analphabetic.- She stabbed sarcastically. Anna hissed in her cat like fashion as her hair started to rise like it was fell. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- His usual pub was crowded, but he knew it was normal by this time of the evening. He looked at his wrist: 21:00, right the time to go out on saturday night. What next? Well, let's start with a beer; he went for the counter and sat on a high chair. Michaela, the barmaid glanced at him and recognized him; she smiled warmly and came nearer. -Hey There Engineer! What will it be?- she asked patting him on the hand. He looked at her and had to admit that she looked cute; not certainly for her dress, it was really ordinary, trousers, white shirt, black gilet and so on, but her little face was bright and always smiling. The short, platinum blond hairs of her made a perfect frame for her little, shining blue eyes. Cute, nothing to say. -A large beer, red please and thank you, I'm alright.- He answered. -I did not ask.- she blinked -I KNOW!- he tapped lightly on her forehead- What's happened to good manners and professional behavior? Like "Hi, how do you do?" or something? She giggled and took a huge glass from under the counter then put it under the dispenser- Sorry, first business, then pleasure! She let the red ale flow into the glass, then served it to him; he took the glass. -Well, how do you do? -Sorry, first pleasure, then business!- he drank a good sip from his beer then put the glass back on the counter. He sighed satisfied and smiled. -God's food. -Does it mean you liked it? -Well, more than your last cocktail for sure.- He teased her. -STOP IT! If you cannot drink, don't go for the big one!- she countered laughing. -Listen lady the fact that I throw up, doesn't mean always that I can not hold the line! Have you ever thought about that?- He drank again. -Yes, whatever you say- She chuckled shaking her head, then she noticed another customer-Excuse me a second. He nodded and kept on drinking, then he put the glass down and looked at her, while she prepared a... What was that? Seemed a Cuba libre. She was a student in the local university, biotec departement; her dream: end her study and start to build android's immunitary system. 6 She was German, here for a year with a special program sponsorised by a industry that was interested in this field. He did not know much of it, it was a new thing even for him, but he had to admit that he found it quiet interesting too. But she had a two little problems, one was money shortage ( who did not?), so she worked as barmaid three days in a week in that place, the second was that she could not help but not understand much about nervous schemes and similar problems. He had to help her each time she came to that point; he did it with pleasure, he liked little Michaela. If she only did not have that little problem... -Well, what's new?- She asked coming back. -Hmmm- He swallowed- Nothing, always the same, Your studies? -I'm on the edge of the biggest headache of the century. -She complained putting a hand on her forehead and shaking it. -Always the Shiroo's curves? How many time do we have to do it again? - He sighed. 7 She tressed her hands together and assumed a humble look- Please, O good Lord of wisdom, once again? He laughed loudly and nodded- Okay, what about monday? Six in the evening? -Yep!- she nodded happily- The house charges that! -Hey, too kind! He took both her hands in his and said- O pure and ignorant one, let's unify our lives in a single middle educated being. She laughed- Sorry, But there is a problem! He felt the hardness of the wedding ring under his fingers and asked, already knowing the answer- And it's? -I'm married. -NO!- he played as if he was horrified. -My heart belongs to someone else O lord of wisdom, but think about it. You'll not have to tell it to your bride.-She answered playing aside -There is a problem, I'm not married! -NO!-She replicated his expression of before, then bursted to laughs- A real waste for my gendre! -Don't you think so too? He took his glass and drank again. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bonaparte skidded on its left side tread and stopped in the middle of the hangar. The floor cried in agony as the spiked treads bit the concrete in large chunks from it. Anna twittered without turning her look at her commander-Ladies and gentlemen, Last stop , Tank police central hangar. Puma company was glad to have you on board and hope tha... -YOU MORON!-Leona yelled exasperated- WHY IN HELL DO YOU HAVE TO STOP MY TANK IN THAT WAY EACH TIME? Anna shrinked as her hair tried to climb over her temples in safety, away from the upset tank commander.- Errr... didn't you like it? Leona covered her eyes and breathed deeply while she tried to take control back. She'd love the idea of being a simple gunner again, maybe with Al at her side; life seemed so simple in those times. Now she had to look after herself, her squad and a pair of psycopaths with kitten ears... She scratched her short, rebel raven black hair. It wasn't that bad at all if only one of them did not happen to be her pilot. She would have liked to fire both, but Anna seemed to be the best thing a Tank could hope behind its cloche and Uni was the best work organizer in the whole station, if you did not mind her ahem... let's say "unusual" manners. She sighed and let the conversation fall, she opened the hatch over her head and started to climb down from the turret, feeling the tank purr like a giant lion. -Cut the engine Anna, we are near to the fuel reserves, how many times will I have to say it again?- She spoke irritated and tired. The tank choked twice and then stood still; the front plates of it opened slowly revealing the front seat of the driver compartment. Anna was in it and looked as tired as Leona, she yawned and stretched her body, twisting her back in many manners, then she stood up and smiled at the sight of the sky partially hidden by the roof of the hangar, lightly clouded, but full of stars. She looked at herself and made a disgusted expression, her luxurious body was reduced to some kind of parody, like she was a SD character of some demented manga. That was a option that her body had, to shrink to a lesser dimension, only letting the entire fluids of her body out of it. 8 She had used it before in escapes in narrow places, and found it very useful for the tank job. Well, it was that or breaking the laws of physic trying to fit a meter and eighty into the front sit of Bonaparte! She looked around and did not see any water jars to use to get to her normal form again; she pouted and got ready to go to the upper stair to find it. -Stop right there you!- Leona's voice thundered behind her and again she felt her hair trying to climb on her brow to run for cover. She turned and smiled innocently at her commander- Yesss? O most powerful one?- she tried. -Don't even try it with me, look at what you've done!- she pointed at a large scar on the floor, right under the front- left tread. -Oh, that, it's not the wors... -Maybe!- She roared and pointed her finger to the side of her tank- But that? There was a impressive white scratch on the side of the armour; the chunck of concrete that flew away as she stopped the tank was maybe responsible for. -Well? What's that?- Leona tapped her foot furious, pointing her finger at the tank and trying to obliterate the girl with the force of her glare. -Errrr. A tank?- Anna cowardly tried, smiling sheepishly. -YOU SMARTASS! YOU'RE GONNA PAINT IT AGAIN! I WANT IT OPERATIONAL FOR MONDAY! CLEAR? Anna sighed and hung her head in defeat- Roger.- She whined. -Umphh! THAT'S the worst thing that happ...- Leona started again but was cut down by the sound of a explosion. The windows shattered in debris as the force of the explosion arrived at them a millisecond later. They both run to the exit and saw a column of smoke run up for the sky,far away in the city behind the building in front of the police station and already heard the screams of sirens in the background. Leona got the receiver of the internal phone on the wall at her left and shouted inside it- Commander Ozaki will go out again, note it as extra hours for my record!. She threw the receiver in place and went for the turrent again; Anna protested- Commander, we are not entitled to that, and I'm tired! -Shut up and come back to your place at once!- she opened the hatch and put a leg into it- You'll be awarded the hours in excess. Anna run into the seat and closed the plates in front of her, starting the engine of Bonaparte, after a brief second she spoke- Tank operational commander, ready as long as you are!. -Okay, find Tank 32 and 33 and let them converge to our destination! ASAP! -Okay.- She executed. After brief silence she asked. -Commander? -Hmmm?- Leona was busy checking her weapons sistem. -Can I note the hours I'll spend on painting Bonaparte as extra time? Leona blinked, then realized- DON'T YOU DA... Anna accelerated suddenly and Leona, caught by surprise, hit the turrent with the back of her head. She sweared and started to massage it with both hands. -Soooryyy!- Anna giggled evily. -I'll get you for this!- She muttered under her breath still feeling the pain. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He burped loudly. It was nothing to be particularly proud of, but he had drunk too much beer and felt he could not hold it anymore. Anyway there was no one in his car, so he could do it without a problem again; he stared at the night in front of him, through the windshield of the 4x4 and saw only the dimly lit street in front of him. He was not in the mood to go back home, so he kept on wandering through the city. He looked at his wrist and checked his watch, 9:30. Suddenly the sound of a huge explosion tore through the night. A foul light opened a crack into the darkness of his car and he blinked in confusion, nearly lost control of the vehicle. He skidded and halted the car at the side of the empty street. He breathed quickly and opened the door, then stepped out of it, looking in the air as a huge pillar of smoke invaded it, partially hidden by a block house.. For a second he thought about the idea of going there and lending a hand, but the scream of the sirens of the rescue services changed his mind. Alessandro entered his car again and leaned against the seat, closing his eyes and sighing loudly. He felt like shit. He had drunk too much and felt not ready to take the car home. He opened his eyes and looked around him. In the darkness of the city he could not understand where he was; maybe downtown maybe not. He looked in front of him and saw the comforting lights of a parking of what seemed a supermarket. He started the car again and drived it into it, evily parking over the reserved places for handicapped people. The supermarket was closed, and he did not think someone could come shopping by this hour of the night. He cut the engine and locked each door of the car, he thought he would have waited there until the morning or until he felt better; whatever had come first. He opened the compartement on the dashboard of his car and looked inside. Yes. They were there, both. He took two little pieces of paper and looked at them for the God- only- knew- the- how- many- th time. The first piece of paper was an envelope, with a letter, her mother had written it some time ago and gave it to him before going back to Italy. The second was a little more messy than the letter, it was just a paper with a few notes scribbled on it. He sighed and played with the papers a second more. He opened the envelope and started rereading the letter. He read. The parking lights scratching the white sheet of paper. "Sasą. I'm sorry to bother you again on this subject, but I'm here in your room and cannot sleep. Our conversation was surely interesting, but did leave in me the utmost concern about you, your future, your conscience. You're my only son, the thing I love more on earth, nothing will ever change this to me. But there are times where even a mother must leave her love aside and face reality. You're wrong. As you nevere have been. I saw in your eyes something that I would never have seen at all in circumstances like those. You love them, isn't it? I saw concern, loneliness and grief, because you did not see them around. Are their embraces that warm? Are their lips that mesmerizing? I would have asked, but did not dare to; why? Good question. Maybe I was jealous, like every mother in love. Easy, but not near to the truth at all; the reason is I wanted not to hear from your words that you sold your soul for something that cheap. Is that everything you ask from life? Flesh and pleasure? Your work as similar at that of God to be sure that a splint of eternity will be yours? I hope you understand more of what I'm writing than actually displays on this sheet. Confusion turns in my head, my mind does not follow you in the path you've choosen to follow. I will not. I'm only your mother, I must step back, it does not matter how much it hurts, and let you live your life. If I'm wrong , then go on; don't mind me at all. If not search deep in your soul for the answer I did not find tonight. I will not interfere. Live long Sasą Your mother" He closed his eyes and let a tear trickle down from his left eye; she did not speak to him from the last time she came. He had not the guts to speak to her again; time has passed. Alessandro looked into the rear mirror and saw his face, five years older. Nothing more. Nothing else. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The sound of a siren took Leona out of her thoughts as she noted the big fire guards tanker running at their side.-Anna? -Commander?- Anna kept the direction answering. -Put me in touch with that car, at our side. Anna pressed a pair of switches at her left side on a panel- Done, speak as soon you're ready. -Commander Ozaki, Newport City tank police, Who's in charge there? Over. -Here speaks commander Kusanagi, how can I help? Over- A well modulated even if nervous voice answered. Leona took her time to answer; those guys were so susceptible about their job. -We are converging to the area of the disaster, Two more tanks are on their way, do you have a clue of what happened? Over. -Nothing more than you alredy know commander, we are going for a major fire alarm, class 3 at least. 9 Nothing to bother you about, I suggest you'll leave it to us. Over. -If you do not mind we'll tag along to make sure everything is alright. Over. An irritated voice answered- I do! But if you like it that way, well, just follow! But do not interfere with our operation , I warn you! Commander Kusanagi, over and out. The conversation was cut rudely off, Leona winced- That animal!- she slammed her receiver on its support again; Anna chuckled. -What's so funny?- Leona rumbled. -Don't you think he has a sexy voice?- She teased her. -You... - Leona kept barely control, she breathed deeply and started again- Report, T-32's position? Anna switched to the panel on her right and made some search- It's travelling from the central station down the 5th, T-33 is on his way and is only a pair of blocks away from us, on the right. -Very well, arrival time estimated in? -Five to seven minutes.- Anna heard the sound of the tanker clacson- They ask for precedence, shall I step aside? -Do it, I would not interfer with the work of the almighty commander Kusanagi!- She noted sarcastically; Anna guided the tank a little to the right and the huge vehicle jumped at light speed in the night. -Seems to me as love at first sight.- Anna giggled. Leona grumbled loudly. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The street was a mess, big chunks of concrete and asphalt were blown away and laid on the shattered ground, a station wagon burned, half turned upside down; more cars followed its fate on the side. Flames erupted high from a wide crack in the ground, running for the sky and filling the air with tick dark smoke. At the side many windows and doors where shattered and were in tatters on the sidewalk. Many people run for their life scattering in many directions, a few of them laid on the cold floor and did not move at all. In all a great evening... The first rescue cars arrived at once, police, fire guards, a pair of ambulances; the place was swiftly encircled and isolated from the rest of the town. Commander Kusanagi stepped down from the huge vehicle he was on and took command of operation- Quick get to the hidrants! Squad two gets the wounded and dead from the scene, Squad three, follow me. He zoomed for the back of the car and the polished surface gave him his reflection, being hit by the malsane red light from the fire in the late evening. He was tall, even for european standards, his black eyes burned with the fever that his job has given to him. His big chin, most useful to him when he was a boxer than to everyone else and his broken nose reflected the light under his policarbonate helmet. With a resolute movement he opened the side hatches of the tanker and quickly retrieved the water tubes letting them roll on the floor; his men helped him and soon water started to flow on the street. Bonaparte skidded as it stopped behind the barrers; the hatch opened and a very upset commander Ozaki climbed down and went for the officer. -Stop there!- A fire guard yelled to her as she approached, to busy to recognize her uniform- This is a emergency zone! -Newport City tank police, I'm commander Ozaki! Were can I find commander Kusanagi? The guard got the point- There, near the tanker. -Thanks.- She spoke to none in particular, then made sure she was connected- Anna? Do you hear me? -Five over five commander, what will it be?- Her voice rung in Leona's head from the miniaturized receiver she had into her ear. She wondered. -Hold positon, Inform me if something goes wrong and when the other tanks arrive. -Is that all?- her voice dripped bore; she yawned. -JUST DO IT YOU TWIT! OVER AND OUT!- Leona clamped her mouth and wondered if someone had heard her shout like that. Luckily none seemed to mind her at all, so she ducked under the tape and went for commander Kusanagi. She found him shouting orders to his man; she recognized in him the mark of a fully fledged officer, but was to angry to be impressed. -THERE! MORE PRESSURE YOU MORONS OR WE'LL LOSE IT! SQUAD THREE ARE YOU SLEEPING? MOVE YOUR ASSES AT ONCE YOU LOAFERS! Leona moved behind him and poked him in the back. He turned and shouted- AND WHAT THE HELL WILL IT BE, PLEASE? Anna and Leona winced, hit from the force of the shout. Kusanagi noticed her uniform and returned to a more civil behaviour- Commander Ozaki, I suppose?- He asked. -Yes, what's on commander?- She tried to be as professional as she could. -Difficult to tell, it seem to me that a explosion ripped open the street and opened a gas line, we have report of three different explosion in a pair of quarters not far away from here; we are taking it under control, but it's giving us a hard time I SAID MORE PRESSURE!-He shouted and returned to control his men. Leona decided to let him alone and got in touch with Anna again. -Anna? -Commander there are two report of cars stationing in two streets not far from here, shall we go? -Since when are we traffic officier?- She hissed in her com unit. -Gee! Did you not notice where we are?- Anna seemed really annoied now. Leona looked down to the street and realizing it hit her as a ton of brick; the street was right where she had sawn the car parked in that idiot way, a hour before. She shot a glance at the wreckage of the station wagon that lied in the middle of it and had to admit that it seemed pretty similar to that one she had nearly blasted away. -Anna are both cars in range for a transmission? 10 -Positive. Leona run to her tank and quickly took her place, closing the hatch behind her. -Full speed ahead! We are heading for the closest one. Anna Call Habana! -The car is parked in a supermarket parking zone, arrival in three minutes.- She executed at once as Bonaparte sprinted howling like a wolf going for his prey. She touched a pair of switches- T-32 on line. -Habana? Ozaki here, refer to the traffic report I'm sending in. Get that car and arrest any suspect, we are going for the second one. Over -Yes commander, should I call T-33 for help? Over.- a muffled voice answered. -Affirmative, keep in touch and no heroics. Ozaki over and out. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------OOH! Y... yesss!- Yoko moaned loudly and shook her little head to right and left, trying to breath. She felt Hiroshi's spear trepassing her deep as never before. She touched her left breast and shook as electricity ran through her body, she started to knead it gently and then more forcefully as her tension rose more and more. Hiroshi smiled looking at her, he kissed her forcefully entwining his tongue with hers and tasting her saliva. He got her at the end; it took him a long time to get her laid, but it was worth it. Well, maybe his car was not the best place for the first time, but he was too excited to hold control until they got to a hotel. Besides he was broke... He let his hand wander under her butt and started to tease her back entrance; his finger was sucked inside and he realized that it was something he wanted to try one day. He grinned evily as she arched her back and moaned even more. She reached with her right hand and touched his sack, gently massaging his testicles; he let a grunt escape and felt himself near cumming. -Yo...ko I... -Yess!- She nodded nearly histerical- I'm there too, faster! Do... It... Faster! Please! Suddenly the car started to shake lightly, like the ground was rocking. Yoko noticed it but thought her near coming climax was the reason for it, so cried even louder. -You are fantastic! I feel... like rocking! Hiroshi felt proud that his girl gave him that much credit, even if he had to admit he wasn't responsible for the shaking of his car; he ignored it and hissed- It's always like that with me baby. Enjoy it? -Yesss! Don't stop, DON'T STOP!! Lights went out into the car in a flash. -NEWPORT CITY TANK POLICE! CEASE ALL ACTIVITY AND HOLD YOUR HANDS UP! THAT'S AN ORDER!!. The two lovers froze on place and blinked in total confusion as they noticed two large twenty millimeter cannons, pointing at them from each side window of the car. Hiroshi stuttered- O... okay.- he rose his hands. Yoko had a little more problems, due to her position half upside down, but she complied the best she could. There was a minute of silence as the officiers into the tanks realized what they had just done. After another minute a choke was heard from the T-32, at the left side of the car- Cough... Errr... Are you using a condom? Hiroshi blinked again, then nodded. -Can you prove it?- The voice seemed really embarassed now. Hiroshi would have gladly shown it, but felt it somehow unpolite to exit from where his penis rested and just show his fading erection, covered by a layer of cum. Yoko scrambled on the sit, then recovered the broken envelope of the condom and showed it. -Very well... Err... In that case go on... Errr... Have fun!- Habana felt as he had forgotten something- Ah, yes. Thanks for your cooperation. The two nodded, smiling stunned as the tanks rolled away. Into the T-32 Habana moaned blushing to death, hiding his face in his hands; his gunner, Shinozaki, coughed and then asked- Sir? -Hmmmm?- Habana felt not like talking. -What will you... write on the report?- He gulped embarassed. Habana moaned louder. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bonaparte rolled slowly following the street, heading for the parking. The silouette of the car was more and more evident even under the dim lights of the supermarket windows. -Anna, is someone in? Anna tinked on her set of scanners and then answered- Difficult to say, its suspension are low, so maybe yes, but it's a 4x4 chassis, so...- she felt somehow tense and realized something was not right. -Okay, get to its left side as silent as you can, shut the light off and pray. -At once. The little tank surged from the darkness and entered the parking; Anna thought that it was nearly impossible that enyone could be taken by surprise by Bonaparte, but she had understood that commander Ozaki was that obsessed from her tank that she thought he could do anything. Even being a ninja... She stopped the T-31 where she was ordered to do it and waited for order, quickly scanning the car. -Some kind of transmission? -Nope, a person is inside, but I do not have readings about any electronic warfare or similar. Suddenly Anna realized she knew that car, she observed it closer and gulped, starting to sweat as the stream of memories ran free in her mind. -Anna? The voice of Leona brought her back to reality; she snapped back- Yes? -I said step out of the tank and go take a look. -Err... Well...- she fumbled. -Well, what's the problem?- Leona looked into her periscope and did not realize Anna's state of mind. -I do not want to!- she pointed out sternly suddenly. -Uh?- Leona looked at her puzzled, unsure of what she had just heard- Repeat, please? -I- will-not- go-out- there.- Anna hissed. Leona was shocked, what the hell had bitten her? Still, it was an order and she wanted it done, so she arched her eyebrows and spoke harshly. -That's not a request, in the case you did not notice it I gave you an order. Execute. -Why can't you go yourself?- Anna whined nervous as ever; the tank seat had never seemed that narrow to her. -GO OUT RIGHT NOW!- Leona thundered. -No! -I SAID... -I'M NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT YOU SAID, I WON'T DO IT! PIN IT IN THAT CABBAGE YOU HAVE AS A HEAD! RIGHT? Leona gave up and opened the hatch, fuming as never before- Suit yourself.- she stepped out- Do not worry about the report, I charge myself of it! I feel inspired tonight! Leona reached for her gun and retrieved it, checking twice it was armed and ready. She ran to the car and kneeled at its side, making sure she could not be on the line of fire of anyone 11. She glanced inside and saw a single man, quietly sleeping in his car. She breathed again as the tension faded away. Just to be sure Leona knocked on the window and waited for an answer. It took a second before the man had some kind of reaction. Slowly he opened the door and stepped out of the car. He was tall, cladded in a black mac and some kind of black jeans. Leona looked at his face and saw that something was wrong. -Tank police, Who are you and what are you doing here?- She asked holding him under control with her pistol. she thought disgusted. 12 He did not answer; Leona was getting nervous, as she noticed that a tear trickled from his right eye. She looked at him puzzled. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anna did not loose a single frame of the scene ot of the tank, the camera giving her a perfect image of it. She activated the zoom option and magnified his face; she looked at his eyes and felt a knife stabbing her in the guts. She caressed the image on the screen and gritted her teeth. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Leona put her gun back and walked to the man. She touched his arm and looked at him. -Sir, are you alright? -N... not really...- Alessandro stuttered. Then he threw up. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The jail door rolled with a metallic sound. Alessandro looked at it and saw a female figure, near a cop, that looked at him. She was cladded in a red skirt, jacket and white blouse; her glasses twinkled in the light of the corridor. She seemed a bit tense, a bit tired, but mostly concerned. -Are you alright De Rossi -kun?- Tamiko asked, her voice light as a feather. He nodded. -Come one, I'll escort you home, you're free to go. -But... -It's alright, they called me from here and told me what happened. You've to come back tomorrow, but you're free of charges. He rose feeling his body crying in pain as he tried to control the nausea that moved into his throat. -Is that what you call "Fun"?- She stabbed sarcastically. He did not answer and leaned against her as she brought him to her car, out of the station. He did not speak a word during the way home, nor did she. He thanked her quietly as he exited the car. She nodded smiling tired. -See you tomorrow. He reached his flat and opened the door, after fumbling with the keys a couple of times. He entered his room and jumped on the bed, without even bothering to wash or undress himself. There was time for a last conscient thought Then darkness engulfed his mind. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Technical notes: 1 For more information read the 4th note at the end of "Prologue" part 2 2 After controlling his conscience status, a second serie of test are to be runned concerning her motority and overall sistem; this will take time, so it's better to sleep awaiting for it. 3 The first question is meant to show flaws in the sistem that controls the overall AI, the second is for space and time concept testing (where and when), the third is a probe of self conscience. The last is to understand if she knows WHAT she is and WHAT FOR. 4 A bit of a exageration, but surely the impact would kill or mayem a big part of the people around the car. What I find fantastic is Leona that plays the right one; face it, she did like the idea! 5 The Sanma-2 is an armour piercing shell build By Akamatsu Ind. Anna thinks that it will be more effective in blowing that car as a standard HEAT shell. The problem is only that you'd have to make understand to the shell that it has only to stop there instead of cutting trough the car like a hot knife trough butter and then run trough the night starting a carnage... 6 The more you use biorelated materials in the building process the more you'll risk them to infect themselves with virus and similar bacterical lifeforms. And we do not want to harm our customer, right? 7 Shiroo curves are a practical manner to make a plan of a android's conscience, they are a quite complicated concept to explain. Let's say Michaela has our solidarity 8 I cannot explain that, ask Shiroo Sensei for explanation and if he answers you Email me. Please. 9 There are five classes of danger for a urban fire, ranging from one( A car explosion) to the higher (major fire with chemical hazards or similar). Three is quite above average 10 Leona thinks that it was a bomb car. It could have being a timebomb, but even a radio-activated one is a possibility that is not to be overlooked. Those two cars are right in place. Better check. 11 A bit of clumsy from her side, what if he was armed with something bigger than a .38? A .357 would have traveled trough the chassis like trough butter! And if he had a rifle or a shotgun? 12 Police slang for drug addict.
