first.
Love in the Castle, chapter One
It was a beautiful afternoon in Castle Toran. Cleo was
laying in her bed, asleep. She rolled over and grabbed
the pillow in her sleep... and she dreamed...

usually pulled up in a red headband fell loosely over her

The night before had been wonderful for Joshua and Milia. It

would never forget.
Joshua brushed Milia's cheek. "Wake up, love."
Milia opened her eyes and stared at Joshua. "Oh, Joshua...

"It was wonderful, wasn't it, darling?" Joshua asked her.

"It was wonderful for me as well," Milia agreed. She kissed

her. She had no idea who it was. "Who are you? What do
you want?" she asked.
"Don't be afraid of me, Cleo," the man told her. "I am
your soulmate. I love you."
Cleo looked at him. "Who are you?"
"That doesn't matter now, Cleo," the man told her. "You'll
find out later. I just want you to know that you are safe
with me. You're safe because I love you, Cleo."
He wrapped his arms around her and before she knew it,
Cleo was kissing the masked man. She had no idea who he
was, yet he was right, she felt safe in his arms.
