The Japanese Idiot Mamoru By: The Wou Cheese Goddess Written: 8/97 "Usako?" Mamoru looked down the hallway to see two shadowy figures slowly walking away from him. "Usako!" Why won't she answer me? Mamoru ran up to the two people and grab Usagi's shoulder. "Usako, why didn't you...." "Seiya-kun, who is this man?" Usagi ask the man beside her. Seiya looked over Mamoru and responded, "I have no idea," mockingly. "What?!" Mamoru yelled. "Let's get out of here Seiya, this guy's scaring me." "Fine by me." As the two walked away Seiya eyed Mamoru in delight. He finally got what he wanted. "Hello? Mamoru-kun, hello?" Motoki said as he waved his hand in front of Mamoru's face. "Huh? I'm sorry, did I drift off?" Mamoru asked. "You've been doing that a lot lately, is there something on your mind?" Mamoru sighed. "Nothing really, just this dream I keep having about Usagi." Motoki laughed, "Don't worry about her, she can take care of herself." "I guess so." Mamoru said doubtfully. Slowly he picked up his cup of coffee and looked into it thoughtfully. "Motoki-san, how long have you and Reiko been engaged." "It's been about two years now. Why?" "Have you ever thought someone might be trying to steal her away?" "Of course! She works with so many men, I'm bound to get jealous at some point. But, nobody ever has." Motoki watched as Mamoru took a sip from his coffee and stared into space. "Do you think someone is trying to take Usagi-chan from you?" "I don't think he is, I know that's what he's trying to do," Mamoru answered as he stood up. "I'll see you later." Motoki watched sadly as Mamoru picked up his green jacket and walked out of the store. "Can you believe it Luna, it's been six years since the battle with Galaxia and nothing has happened since." "What made you think of that Usagi-chan?" Luna asked. "Look who I got a letter from!" Luna looked at the envelope and gasped. "Seiya-kun?!" "They are coming back! He said that they were going to come to Japan again." "But why?" Luna couldn't believe the Starlights would be coming back. Especially after so much time had elapsed. "Seiya-kun said they were come back and sing like they did before. Now that their planet is back in order they want to come and like on Earth again. He said he missed me....." Usagi's voice slowly trailed off. "You know what that means right?" Luna hinted. "It means he misses me you stupid cat!" Usagi yelled. Luna laughed at Usagi. "Fine, ignore everything from before." "What's that supposed to mean!?" "Oh, nothing." "Luna!" Seiya looked up at the condominium building and breathed deeply. "We're finally here." "I don't see why we left our home for Tokyo again," Yaten complained. Taiki nodded his head. "I don't see why we left either. We were heroes to everyone. What are we here?" Seiya looked angrily at his brothers. "We're heroes here too! And everyone respects us here too! That's why we came here." "Some people respect us Seiya. Some. Not everybody. Haruka-san sure didn't respect you. And how are we heroes?" Yaten asked. "We're idol singers! All idol singers are heroes. And we helped save this world." Taiki sighed. "One, we were idol singers. Who's to say when we start up again people will like us as much as they did before. Two, only ten people know we saved this world who actually live here. Nobody else does. Face it Seiya, we know why you wanted to come back." "That's one of the reasons we are here Taiki-san." Yaten laughed. "You can't have her. That Mamoru guy does." "We can change that." "Usagi!" Shingo screamed down the hallway. "There's some guy to see you!" Shingo inspected the man carefully. "You look like the singer from that washed up group. What were they called again?" "Washed up?!" Seiya yelled. Shingo laughed. "So you are him. Man, what do you want with my sister?" "That is no of your business you little.." "Seiya-kun!" "Odango." Seiya smiled as Usagi ran to him. Usagi laughed happily. "It's so good to see you!" she exclaimed while hugging her old friend. "I want you to come and see my brothers. Then I was thinking we could go do something." "Sure!" Usagi stepped outside and closed the door, ignoring Shingo's yells of protest. "Don't mind him. Now that he's in high school he thinks he has to protect me." "It's good that he looks out for you like that," Seiya replied while grabbing a helmet from the back of a motorcycle. Usagi looked at the black motorcycle in surprise. "Is that yours?" "Of course," Seiya responded while handing Usagi the helmet. "Since when have you had that?" Usagi asked as she tucked her blonde hair into the helmet. Seiya thought for a second. "About ten minutes ago," he said while sliding his helmet on and tucking his hair inside. "Well, let's go." Mamoru patiently waited for the light to turn red as he changed the station on his car radio. When a black motorcycle pulled up beside him he smiled slightly. "I miss my motorcycle," he said to himself. Mamoru was surprised when the driver pulled up the visor on the helmet and smiled back at him evilly. "That's.... Seiya-kun!" He then looked at the person behind Seiya and wanted to yell out. "And that's Usako!" As the motorcycle sped past him, Mamoru decided to follow. "There's no way that guy is getting Usako!" "Here we are," Seiya said dramatically as he pulled his helmet off, "Green Palace condominiums." "It's beautiful!" "We have a place up on the 16th floor. You can see the bay from the balcony." Seiya took Usagi's hand and led her inside. "Yaten-kun and Taiki-san have been waiting for you." "Why?" Usagi asked as she stepped into the elevator. Seiya laughed. "It's been six years since we last saw you. Which reminds me, do you want to see our concert next weekend? You can bring your friends if you want." "Really?!" Seiya took out five tickets, "Why not?" "You're the greatest Seiya!" Usagi exclaimed as she hugged him. Seiya wrapped his arms around Usagi. "I wish this elevator would never stop," Seiya thought aloud. "What?" "Nothing!" Seiya burst out as he blushed. "Nothing at all." As the door opened, Usagi quickly pulled away from Seiya. "We are just friends, remember?" "Yeah, sure," Seiya replied angrily as they stepped out of the elevator and onto the 16th floor. Opening the door, Seiya became enraged at the sight of his two brother standing with their arms cross. "We've been waiting," Yaten said bluntly. Seiya remarks smartly, "For what?" "You dumb-ass," Taiki replied. Usagi went up to the two men and hugged them warmly. "What made you guys come back?" "Seiya kept pushing and pushing, so we finally gave in." "Well I'm glad you came back," Usagi giggled. "Now we can be together like we were before." Taiki and Yaten looked at her baffled. "When were we together?" Yaten asked. "Oh, you know," Usagi said softly. Mamoru stopped, clutching his chest hard and breathing heavily. He had run up five floors worth of stairs and needed to stop for a break again. "I'll kill him!" he screamed in terrible English. It sounded a lot like "Airu Kiru Himu!" Once he had caught his breath again, he ran up the stairs yelling "I'll kill him," in terrible English repetitively. Reaching the tenth floor, Mamoru finally gave up and walked out of the stairwell. "Screw this, I'm taking the elevator!" Stepping into the first elevator, the faint smell of Usagi's perfume began to drive him crazy. "I'll kill him!" he screamed in English. He had no idea why he was speaking in English, it was just an unconscious thing. Quickly, Mamoru arrived on the 16th floor. The smell of Usagi's perfume became stronger. Silently vowing that he would end Seiya's life, he opened the door. Watching Taiki and Yaten talking to his potentially future girlfriend - if only he could get rid of Mamoru! - he leaned against the front door smiling. Usagi turned and walked over to him, starting to speak, but before she could say anything the door flung open and Seiya crashed straight into Usagi, sending them both to the floor. Usagi looked up to see Mamoru's infuriated face staring down at her. "You pervert!" he screamed, diving for Seiya and pushing him off of his girlfriend. "I'll kill you!" "Airu kiru yuu?" Yaten repeated, making fun of his terrible English. Still teasing, he said with a heavy accent, "You go to college for four years and can only speak that good?" Taiki and Seiya both laughed hysterically. "Mamo-chan, what's wrong? It's not what you think!" Usagi screamed. "What am I supposed to think? I walk in to find my girlfriend underneath a guy that's had a crush on her for the past six years! I'll kill him for trying to take advantage of you!" Usagi was having a hard time trying to understand the broken English, and when she was finally able to translate it in her head it took her even longer to figure out what to say. "He didn't try to take advantage of me! It's my fault he was on top of me!" "So you're a whore!" he retorted, bringing gasps from the boys, who knew English fluently. Usagi was not so quick to comprehend. "What's a 'whore'?" she asked. "Korouto," Seiya explained in Japanese. Usagi nearly exploded. "How could you call me that? I'm not a prostitute! I thought you loved me, Mamo-chan! Now I see I was wrong!" "You don't understand!" Mamoru yelled, "I do love you! But how can I trust you if you're going to run off with every guy you see?" With that, Usagi collapsed in a heap of tears. "We were supposed to be together forever! Never speak to me again! I can find another father to Chibi-usa!" She then made a guttural sound halfway between a bark and a scream and buried her face in the carpet. Taiki and Yaten went to comfort her, but Seiya couldn't do that yet. He stormed up to Mamoru and punched him square in the jaw. As Mamoru staggered back from the impact - he hadn't realized such a short man could be so strong - he threatened weakly, "I'll have you know, I take karate!" "Yeah, and I take tae kwon do, karate, judo, hapkido, chosondo, muay tai kick boxing, tai chi, and kung fu. I came back two years ago to study in China and Japan, especially in the Tendo dojo, well known for its many secret moves, and I plan to defend this poor girl. You have no right to accuse her of being a whore, and I can't believe you are destined to be the King of the Moon. If you ever come near her again, I'll kill you." Seiya's English was much better, and he said it with such sincerity and fire in his eyes that Mamoru backed away even further. Suddenly his guts seemed to return. "You can't take her away from me! We are destined for each other! I'll get her back!" He looked down at Usagi, who had lifted her head at Seiya's courageous words. "I do love you, pretty baby!" he cried. "Get out of here!" Yaten screamed, standing up. "Haven't you done enough? Get your crusty assed blood stained goddamned green jacket self the hell out of our apartment! The next time we need a bus boy, we'll call!" Mamoru was hurt, truly hurt to the point where he couldn't stand it. He uttered a cry of disgust that sounded too much like a woman's for comfort, then turned and stormed away. Slamming the door shut, Seiya ran to Usagi. "Are you alright?" "I don't know..." Usagi replied weakly, still crying and sniffling, as she grabbed on to Seiya's arm. "Oh, thank you so much for sticking up for me. That was so brave of you. He's so much taller than you..." Seiya frowned at the statement, then laughed. "It's not the height that counts, it's the feelings inside." This brought on more laughter from his brothers. "Do you think it'd be all right if I stayed here tonight? I'm not sure I can face my friends or the phone call that Mamoru's certain to make. I hope he rots in hell." Taiki and Yaten shared uncertain glances, but Seiya immediately exclaimed, "Sure! I'll give up my room and sleep on the couch. I don't want you to have to deal with that egotistical bastard. The way he acts you'd think he was Bill Gates." "Who's Bill Gates?" "Never mind...." Mamoru was depressed. Mamoru was very depressed. He couldn't believe Usagi had dumped him that easily. After hopping into his Volvo he found himself speeding towards Rei's shrine, hoping to find comfort there. Rei had always been there in the past, when he and Usagi had gotten into fights. Rei was the type who was good for one night of the fun Usagi wanted to wait for. Like all the men that visited the shrine on a regular basis, he felt that Rei wasn't much more than someone who spread their legs to have one good peck. All he had to do was put on a depressed face, which he could easily accomplish because he was very depressed. Mamoru didn't have to walk halfway up the flight of stairs that led to the shrine, for Rei was waiting for him. "I sensed you were coming," she said mysteriously. "Are you finally going to leave Usagi?" "Oh, Rei, she dumped me!" Rei nearly lost her balance. "She dumped you?! Shy little low-self-esteemed good for nothing God-loving Usagi?! You've lost your touch!" Mamoru walked up beside Rei and slipped his hand under her nightgown. "I really need someone right now Rei. You can help me, can't you?" Rei gasped as Mamoru's hand moved upward. "Of course I'll help you..... Mamo-chan," she said, smiling evilly. "Well then, let's hurry and get into your room. I can't hold it forever." Rei giggled as Mamoru lifted her up and carried her to the temple. "You're so masculine!" she exclaimed. After Mamoru had laid Rei gently on her futon, he slowly began to take off his green jacket. "Why don't you get rid of that disgusting thing?" Rei asked. "It's my lucky jacket. I was wearing it when........" "When what?" "When I met, Usako." "God dammit! Forget about her! She's a whore!" Mamoru smiled down at Rei, who was now completely nude. "You're right Rei-chan. I only need your sweet loving," he responded while quickly pulling down his pants. Rei touched Mamoru's leg with the tips of her fingers and slowly moved them upwards. "You are my best customer Mamo-chan, tonight it's free." Mamoru laid down beside her and pinned her arms down. "Customer? I thought I was your friend!" he said kissing her neck passionately. "Oh Mamo-chan!" Rei yelled out as Mamoru began to circle her breasts with his tongue. "Mamo- cha....." "What the hell is going on in here?!" a voice demanded. Rei looked up and started screaming. "Stop it! Stop it! Rape! Rape!" "What?!" Mamoru yelled. Suddenly he felt his entire body being lifted. "What the hell do you think your doing here?!" Yuurochiro yelled. Rei began to sob uncontrollably. "He came running in here and ripped my clothes off! He started saying, 'If I can't have Usagi then I'll have you!' I was so afraid Yuuro-chan!" "Rei! How can you....." Mamoru began to say but was quickly stopped as his neck was being squeezed by Yuurochiro's hand. "Get the hell out of here!" Yuurochiro screamed while throwing him by his neck outside. "And I'm burning your clothes!" Mamoru stood up and brushed himself off. "Everyone has betrayed me," he said quietly. Then, walking to his car-without clothes-Mamoru began to question why he should continue living. "Hello?" "Mako-chan, can you pick me up?" Usagi whispered into the phone. Makoto got up off her couch and stared at the phone in disbelief. "Pick you up? From where? Why are you whispering Usagi-chan!?" "Please, just pick me up!" Usagi begged, "I promise this will never happen again!" "Where are you? Where should I pick you up?" Usagi thought for a moment, "Do you know where the Green Palace condominiums are?" "That's on Momoji right?" "Yeah, thank you so much!" Usagi whispered as she hung up the phone. She quickly picked up her clothes and pulled them on. "Why? Why did I stay here last night?" "Where do you think you're going?" Usagi gasped as she turned around. "Yaten-kun!" Yaten grabbed Usagi's hand and led her to a chair. "You can't leave." "Why..... why not?!" "Because, you are the entire reason we are here. If you leave, Seiya will be heartbroken and I will never here the end of it." "I'm just...... going for a walk," Usagi said carefully. "I hope so, for your sake and mine." Makoto pulled up to the tall, light green building and sighed. "How appropriate, the building is green." Taking out a cigarette, she began to light up when Usagi opened the car door. "Why were you here?" "Um, no reason. Are you going to smoke that?" "Why else would I have it out?" Usagi sighed. "Keep the windows open at least." "Fine with me," Makoto responded while putting the cigarette in her mouth. Usagi stared at her blonde hair thoughtfully. "Is what I did wrong?" Makoto looked out onto the road while tapping the end of her cigarette out the window. "I don't even know what you did, so how can I judge if it is wrong or not?" "I dumped Mamoru." Makoto brought the car to a complete stop in the middle of the street. Ignoring the yells and car horns behind her Makoto said in disbelief, "Say that one more time." "I dumped Mamoru Mako-chan." Starting the engine once again Makoto began to laugh to herself. "How ironic. The other day I was thinking, 'What would the world be like if Japan's best couple had a fall out.' Now I know, everything would be the same." "What's that supposed to mean?!" "Think about it. You are the key-scary as that may be-to this entire Earth. Without you, we wouldn't be here. Now think for just a moment, you are the ruler of Crystal Tokyo, but it requires both you and Mamoru to create it. So, if you two aren't together, then Crystal Tokyo can never be built and we will never advance into the complex society that will exist in the future, condemning our lives to the hell it already is." Usagi stared blankly at Makoto. "That didn't make any sense." "I try," Makoto joked. "Couldn't I just find another man?" "Yeah, right. Like who?" "Like........." Usagi stopped and thought about last night, a hot passion building up in her body. "I can't believe you stood up to Mamoru like that." "I didn't want him hurting you Odango," Seiya replied. "I want to thank you again," Usagi said quietly as she hugged Seiya. Seiya looked down at Usagi and smiled. " I would do anything for you." He then laid Usagi down upon the couch and kissed her passionately. Usagi let out a small moan as Seiya's hand travelled up her shirt and circled her breasts. "I haven't gotten an answer," Makoto insisted, making Usagi forget about the passionate night. "I.... I don't know," Usagi replied. "It's you!" Mamoru sighed. He had to go through this everyday. "Is you sister here Shingo-san?" "No, she went off with that washed up idol and never came back. You are so lame! It's been six years since you got engaged to Usagi and you still haven't talked about marriage. I'm surprised she didn't run off with another...." "Shingo!" Ikuko came to the door and pulled Shingo aside. "Excuse my son Mamoru-san, he's decided to put down everyone he sees lately." "That's okay. Do you know when Usagi will be home?" Ikuko sighed. "I'm sorry, but she has been acting extremely strange lately. I don't know when she will finally return, but when she does I'll make sure she calls you." "Thank you Ikuko-san," Mamoru said as he turned to leave. Walking out to the end of the Tsukino driveway, Mamoru looked down the street to see Makoto's car pull up to the curb. "I wonder what she is doing here," he said to himself. When he saw Usagi step out of the car he nearly fainted. "Usako!" "Thanks for the ride Mako-chan!" Usagi called as Makoto drove away. She began to walk towards her house when the sight of Mamoru in his green jacket nearly blinded her. "Usako," Mamoru said as he slowly walked up to Usagi. Usagi turned her face when Mamoru bent down to kiss her. "Don't talk to me. You had know right to call me a.... a.... I can't even say it! And I know where you went last night, don't play dumb with me either. You've been doing it for the past six years, I'm not as stupid as I look." "Well you had no right to go to Seiya!" Usagi was baffled. "Go to him! I was invited, and we didn't do anything! It was because of you he was on top of me. If you hadn't opened the door-which you wouldn't have done if you weren't following me-then we would have continued with our conversation!" "My fault!" Mamoru screamed, "My fault! It's always my fault isn't it! It was my fault you failed college entrance exams, it was my fault you brother turned into a brat, it was my fault Chibi-usa came from the future, it was my fault my parents died, it was my fault my dad was drunk the night of the accident!" "I.... didn't say that," Usagi said softly, "and I never took college entrance exams." "Since everything is my fault, why don't you go and run off with Seiya! That's what he has wanted to do with you all these years. I'll just go and die in a ditch somewhere you insensitive," Mamoru thought for a moment and then screamed in English, "prick!" Usagi thought for a moment. "Puriku? It's one of those words again isn't it! Well fine, I don't need you anyway, you always were an egotistical jerk!" "Usako, I didn't mean......." Usagi was enraged. She couldn't believe what had happened over the past two days. "Obviously you meant every word of it, or else you wouldn't have said it! You could at least give me some respect! I give up on you Mamoru-san. You're so selfish! All you think about is yourself and I'm sick of it! If this is how our marriage will end up, I want out! Take your ring, I won't need it any more." Usagi took the diamond ring from her finger and threw it down at Mamoru's feet. "Maybe you should give it to Rei-chan!" She then stormed past him and into her yard, not looking behind. Mamoru stared down at the ring. Slowly, he realized what happened. "She doesn't love anymore." Instead of picking up the 14 karat diamond ring-which now provoked terrible memories- he kicked the ring into the middle of the street and watched as a bus ran over it. "I need a good stiff drink," he said as he walked towards Omanzi Grocery stores. "How can I help you?" the bartender asked while cleaning out a glass. Mamoru smiled at the bartender and sat down at the counter. "I'll have a sake." Looking around the bar, Mamoru began to wonder why he had never come here before. Staring at the only other man in the bar, Mamoru had a suspicion that he had seen him somewhere before. "Here you go," the bartender said as he handed Mamoru the small glass. "Looks like something is wrong? Wanna talk?" "It's nothing, just broke up with my fiancée." "Ah, chick trouble!" the other man said as he stood up. His long white hair had a strange glow under the light, his skin pale. "I have that all the time." "What?" Mamoru asked. "My wife is always bothering me," the man said while patting Mamoru on the back, "if it's not one thing, it's something else. 'Why are you always working, you never spend time with me!' or 'You never help around the house, why do I even bother trying!' Sometimes I wonder why I bother with Nabiki-chan." The bartender laughed, "You're always complaining about her, but I know you love her. How many times has a woman flirt with you in here, and you turned them down flatly. More times than I can count." He then turned to Mamoru, "What's your story?" "Well, the other day I saw Usako with another man. I was so mad. I wanted to kill that guy!" Mamoru took a gulp from the sake before continuing. "Sure, I've been with different women, but that's beside the point! She shouldn't be with other men!" The bartender poured more sake into Mamoru's cup and laughed. "Doesn't that sound just a little naïve to you?" "What do you mean?" The man sitting next to Mamoru also began to laugh. "You get mad when she is with another man yet you are with several women, no wonder she left you." "It's not my fault she's a whore!" Mamoru yelled as he gulped the sake. "Horu? What's that?" the bartender asked. "Forget it." "Look, you've got to try to give a woman everything she wants. Otherwise they will turn into little maggots who yell at you every night! 'Why don't you do your fair share?!' 'Can't you at least take one vacation?!' That's all you here, day after day! And it never stops!" Slowly the bartender took the glass of sake from the man, "I think you've had one too many drinks Fukisawa-san." Mamoru looked sadly at the man beside him. Is this how I'll end up? Taking out his wallet, Mamoru began to take out some cash when Fukisawa-san stopped him. "It's on me pal. Hope you work everything out. Marriage can be a wonderful thing." "Michiru, will you get that?" Haruka called from the bathroom. Michiru grumpily walked toward the door and opened it. "Hello?" "Good evening Michiru-san. How are you today?" "Mamoru-san!" Michiru exclaimed surprised. "What are you doing here?" "These are for you," Mamoru responded while handing her a bouquet of irises, "It's been a year since, you know." "You're drunk." Michiru led Mamoru into the house and asked him to take a seat. "Ah, Mamoru-san! It's good to see you," Haruka said as she came out rubbing her hair dry. "We heard what happened between you and Usagi-chan," Michiru added quietly. "Dammit, can't those girls get a life." "Actually, we're glad Mako-chan told us. We were going to visit you tomorrow. Are you alright now?" Haruka asked. Mamoru looked angrily at his hands. "It's not fair. We were supposed to be with each other forever. Now she's left me for, Seiya-kun! Airu kiru himu! I can't believe she has done this to me. No explanation on what I had done what so ever! How could she be such a," Mamoru paused. "Whore!" he yelled in English. "Horu?" Michiru asked. Haruka looked angrily at Mamoru. "I hope that wasn't whore in English!" "Mamoru-san!" Michiru exclaimed in shock. "How can you say that?!" "You need some warm milk. I'll be right back." Michiru looked sadly at Mamoru when Haruka left. "You've really gone off the deep end." "You could make it better," Mamoru said in a low voice. "What do you mean?" Mamoru leaned close to Michiru and grabbed her leg. "You know what I mean," he replied winking. "You pervert! Get away from me!" Michiru screamed. Haruka ran into the room and grabbed Mamoru by the collar of his shirt. "What the hell did you just do!?" "Nothing, Haruka-san." "I don't believe that for a second," Haruka replied as she punched Mamoru in the stomach. "Get out of here! You are no longer welcome!" Mamoru stared blankly as the front door was slammed in his face. "I have one last place to go." Ami took the tray of morphine and walked down the hallway gracefully. "This is the best patient I could have gotten for my career!" she said happily to herself. As she began to open the door to the hospital room, she felt a hand rest upon her shoulder. "Mamoru-san, what are you doing here?" "I need your help." Ami sighed. "I heard what happened between you and Usagi. I wish I could help you now, but I need to give my patient his medication. "Patient?" "Yes," Ami replied, "he's..... an English patient." "Could I come in with you?" "I don't see why not. Don't say anything about the desert while around this man though. He was in a terrible plane crash around Egypt and has third degree burns on his entire body." "I'll keep that in mind," Mamoru replied as Ami opened the door. "Ah, I see you have come with my medication," the English patient said with a British accent. Ami smiled at the man. "I want you to meet one of my friends. His name is Chiba Mamoru," she said in perfect English. "I'm pleased to make your acquaintance," the English patient said politely. He was upset when all Mamoru did was nod. Mamoru turned to Ami and looked sadly at her. "Please, you have to help me Ami-chan!" "Help you? I can't help you Mamoru-san. Don't worry, Usagi will come back to you. Just give her a few weeks. She can't stay with Seiya-kun very long." "End my life Ami." Ami stared at Mamoru in disbelief. "I can't do that! Are you crazy?! If you want that done, go to America." "I recommend France," the English patient added. "If you won't do it I will." Ami didn't comprehend at first. Ignoring Mamoru, she turned to the English patient and began to ask him a series of questions. "I kill myself!" Mamoru yelled in English as he picked a syringe from the tray Ami had been holding. "Airu kiru myusefu?" the English patient repeated. "Is that Chinese Dr. Mizuno?" Ami turned to see what Mamoru was talking about when she saw the syringe, with 200ccs of morphine, plunge into his arm. "No!" she screamed as Mamoru fell to the ground. He quickly went into a seizure and was going into convulsions. "Mamoru-san!" Ami screamed in pain. Three doctors ran into the room to see what was going on, but it was too late. Ami looked down at the lifeless body in shock. "Mamoru-san, how could you...." Breaking into tears, the doctors had to hold her back from the body. "Mamoru-san!" she screamed, "Mamoru-san! How could you?!" To be continued.... This story was written entirely by me, The Wou Chees Goddess. Most characters are copywright of Naoko Takeuchi, Toei Animation, and TV Asahi. The English Patient refers to the incrediably boring movie that was released by I think Paramount. If you wish to comment, suggest, flame, whatever, e-mail me at ParaPaints@aol.com.
