Opening Authors notes: Hello. Christmas as come and gone for me. I wanted to
write something before it was over but it didn't happen. I started to write 
this
sequel but then my hard drive died. I got a new one for Christmas though and
it's far larger too so it's all good! Anyways, this story will be dedicated 
to
all of the people whom wrote me about my other work. You guys are the 
reasons
why I continue to write! Actually, I'm quite surprised as to the amount of
positive feedback I get. I hope everyone had happy holidays.

Disclaimer 1: I don't own any of the characters that are described herein 
other
then the ones I create. I own the ones that I create but if you ask nicely, 
I'll
probably let you borrow them for a little while.

Disclaimer 2: This contains scenes of sexually explicit situations between 
two
women. If you are offended by this, sensitive to this type of thing, please
don't read it. If you may get in some sort of trouble for reading this, 
don't
blame me..You brought it upon yourself.

Rei snapped her head up when she heard her name being called. She had been
daydreaming about Serena...again. Rei looked around the classroom to find
everyone staring at her. 'Not again!' her mind cried. She tried to repress 
the
urge to ask what but it was a lost cause. "What?"

Rei's teacher stood up from her desk. She had a calm expression on her face.
"Rei. That's the third time this week. It's only Tuesday! Why have you had 
your
head in the clouds so much lately? Your grades are dropping significantly, 
you
know. Reports to your parents are going home soon. I know your grandpa won't 
be
too happy when he sees your grades are way below average. Rei may I speak 
with
you out in the hallway?" The teacher got up and waited for Rei by the door. 
Rei
slowly stood up and walked over to her. The teacher opened the door for her 
and
Rei stepped out and the teacher stepped out behind her, closing the door.

"Rei. What's wrong with you? I know you would never get this hung up over a 
boy.
Something's really bothering you. I want to help you because I know how 
angry
your grandpa gets when your grades fall. At least can you tell me what's
bothering you?" The teacher asked Rei and she put a reassuring hand on Rei
shoulder. Rei was looking at her feet the entire time.

"I really don't think you would understand." Rei said truthfully. Rei was 
never
able to lie in the face of authority. Teachers and policemen alike. There 
were
some things that she was able to lie about...like being Sailor Mars. 
Actually,
that was different because she was never asked if she had a second identity.

"You would be surprised at how much I understand. Please, I'd like to help 
you."
Rei looked up from her feet to her teacher. Her teacher was fairly young as 
far
as teacher's go. She looked about 27. Her long blue hair was attractive as 
well.
She had a fairly nice bust and was very trim. She obviously did exercises to
keep her body looking nice. Rei did find her attractive but nowhere near as
attractive as Serena. No one would ever measure up to Serena's beauty. Since
Quintis died, all her hopes of ever getting with Serena flew out the window. 
She
would be damned to this torment forever. Someone she loved was so close yet 
so
far away.

Rei realized this just now and broke down into sobs. Her teacher just hugged 
her
close, trying to comfort her as best as she could. She thought maybe it 
wouldn't
hurt to ask the principal to give Rei a few days off. It looked as though 
she
really needed it.

After a little while, Rei had finally stopped crying. She still had a few
sniffles left but she had calmed down for the most part. Her teacher finally 
let
go of her at this point. "We've wasted enough class time. I'm going to take 
you
out for lunch today and we can talk about it then if you want to, ok?" Rei
sniffled once more and nodded. "Go to the bathroom and come back when you're
ready ok?" Again, Rei sniffled and turned towards the bathroom.

Rei heard someone ask once her teacher entered the room, "What's wrong with
Rei?"

Rei then heard the teacher's reply of, "I don't know but even if I did, it's
none of your business!" And the classroom door was closed and she didn't 
hear
anything else. Rei quickly returned to the classroom and the day proceeded
without further interruptions.

It had been nearly a month since Quintis died. Mina cried nearly everyday 
for
about a week after she died. Now she only cried on occasion when something
really reminded her of her. It had been such a disappointment to her. She 
had
found that one person whom she could have lived the rest of her life with 
only
for her to give herself up to stop someone with a great amount of power from
killing more people to get to her. Mina would give up almost *ANYTHING* to 
have
her back. One thing she wouldn't give up is her own life. She had a loving
family and good friends. These were the only things that she wouldn't give 
up
for Quintis.

Mina walked past the new buildings that were built in replacement for the 
part
of where the city was destroyed. Shortly after Quintis died, she just
disappeared so they didn't have to bury her. Mina walked past this part of 
town.
She would often stare at the moon and remember their relationship back on 
the
moon, shortly before Queen Beryl attacked. Quintis had tried to protect her 
and
gave up her own life trying. It was for naught, however as they all ended up
dead and their spirits sent to earth to be reborn and fight against Beryl
again...except this time, they had won.

Mina was walking in front of the building that replaced the building Quintis 
had
lived in. She glanced at her watch, 8:00pm. She still had an hour before she 
had
to be home. The walk home from here was about 15 minutes if she went through 
the
park. Mina decided that there wasn't any point in sticking around here so 
she
left to the mall, which was only about 10 minutes away.

Mina started to walk down a street and then turned a corner. Although it 
wasn't
visible, the mall was at the end of this road.

A roaring sound of a fast car could be heard. Mina looked down the road to 
see a
Lamborghini Countash speeding down the road and swerving all over the place. 
At
this time, the roads were empty and there were probably some rich American
teenagers driving around in their car. Mina looked the other way to see 
someone
crossing the street and they seemed to be carrying a rather large bag. They
tripped and landed hard on the road. Mina looked back and knew that the kid
would never make it back across in time.

Barely thinking about it, Mina sprinted over to the kid who was just 
standing
up. The car was speeding on forward. Mina gritted her teeth in effort as she 
ran
as fast as she could. Mina shoved the kid as hard as she could but was 
knocked
off balance and nearly tripped. Her time was up and although the kid was 
safe,
she wasn't. The driver didn't see her until it was too late. They slammed 
the
brakes on at the last second. Mina was hit in the knees and sent flying over 
the
windshield where she rolled off and landed on the ground with a little 
rolling.
The pain in incredible and the last thing she heard before she passed out 
was
the kid yelling, "Oh my god! Oh my god! Someone! Help her!"

Mina slowly opened her eyes. She didn't feel any sort of pain at all. She 
left
this only to guess that either she was out for a very, very long time or she 
was
dead. As the light flooded her eyes, she was blinded temporarily blinded by 
the
bright light. As the light died down, she could see again. Mina was lying on
something rather uncomfortable. She sat up and looked down. She had been 
lying
on a clean, polished marble.

Looking around her, she was in some castle. As she thought about it more, 
she
started to recognise it. It was the Moon Palace. Unfortunately, this must 
have
been after Queen Beryl's attack...all around her, there was rubble. It was
obvious to her that someone had to be here, the area that she was lying on 
was
completely cleaned off in a nice square just the right size for her.

"Ah, you've finally woken up." Mina heard from behind her. She turned her 
head
around to the familiar voice. Mina thought to herself, "There's no way it's
her.. Is there?" Mina had to shift her whole body before she could see who 
it
was. Her suspicions confirmed, she guessed that she must have been dead too.

"Quintis.." Mina said, letting her breath out.

"Yes?" Quintis inquired.

"Is it really you?" asked Mina.

Quintis paused for a moment before replying with, "Who else would I be?"

"Good point. Am I dead?" Mina inquired.

"No." Quintis replied simply, and turned around. Mina took note that while
Quintis looked the same, she wore her blond hair the same way as she did on
Earth, all of it was combed back with a few stray bangs that stayed in her 
face
and she wore the odd green cloak. Out of the top of the cloak, Mina saw the 
hilt
of a sword that was sheathed. She knew this because she could see a bit of 
the
scabbard poking out the top of her cloak.

Mina looked down at herself to find she was wearing the same clothes that 
she
had been wearing that day. She had on her usual school outfit.

"Are you?" Mina asked, looking up from herself.

"You know." replied Quintis, a little harshly. Mina looked down at the 
ground in
shame. It was a stupid question. She could at least hope however. Quintis 
turned
around, and Mina could see tears streaming down her face. "I brought you 
here
because I wanted to see you.. But you will have to leave pretty soon...and 
this
is my only and last chance to see you again. I don't have very long to show 
you
what I want to show you so please, come with me. Quintis turned around and
started to walk away. Mina followed closely behind her, nearly tripping over 
a
piece of rubble.

There was a little circle of rubble and Quintis climbed over the rim and 
stood
in the middle. Quintis dug in the ground and after a little digging, she
produced a metal plate with the sign of Venus on it. The metal place was 
huge
and it greatly surprised Mina that Quintis could lift it.

"Now, we only have one chance every thousand years to do this. Basically, we
don't want to mess up. The next chance will be at exactly 10:13pm.. You will
wake up at 10:00pm. You have 10 minutes to get from the hospital to the top 
of
my building. There, you will find a sheet of metal similar to this... Stand 
on
it and shoot your Crescent Beam at the very middle of the moon at that time. 
You
only have one minute from then to hit this sheet, I will be standing on it 
then.
This will teleport me from the here to there. This is the only way we can be
together ever again." was Quintis' long explanation.

"I see. This will be our only chance?"

"Yes...it's the only time that this side of the moon will be lit by the sun 
and
be facing Tokyo at the same time for a thousand years. This plate and the 
plate
on top of my apartment will be parallel to each other and the planes of 
reality
will bend. This only happens once every thousand years."

"Why don't we just send you back on a space shuttle when the next one lands 
on
the moon?" this would be easier, Mina figured.

Quintis' reply was, "Because this is an alternate dimension.. Notice that 
the
gravity here is the same as Earth's? It's because this is a different 
reality.
Your Crescent Beam can travel between the realities...it's the only thing 
that
can. I'll have to wait a hundred years for the time to come. For you, it 
will be
only 13 minutes. You get however many shots you want then but only for the
minute of 10:13. At 10:14, it will be too late. I hope you have good aim."

"A hundred years? If that's the case, I hope so too.. I don't want you to 
have
to wait for me any longer then needed...a hundred years without you and 
knowing
that in that hundred years, I could get to see you, I don't think I could 
stand
it...will you be alright?" Mina asked, putting a hand on her lovers 
shoulder.

"I don't have any choice...I'd rather wait 100 years for you then to never 
be
able to see you again...I love you...more then life itself." Quintis put her
hand on Mina's cheek and stepped closer to her. Mina looked into Quintis' 
eyes
to see they have softened greatly and tears were streaming down her cheeks.

"I love you too! I guess I should be glad I didn't commit suicide. I've 
missed
you so much!" Mina hugged Quintis tightly and cried into her shoulder. 
Quintis
hugged Mina back at tightly as she could. "When you get back, I'll take you 
out
on our first official date.. Ok?" Mina offered with a chuckle.

Quintis smiled and said, "I think I'd like that.." Upon seeing Quintis 
smile,
Mina smiled too. She felt very good and warm right now...better then she had
felt for a very long time. Mina bent her head back so she could kiss the 
taller
woman. Quintis bent her head forward and their lips met. The kiss was gentle 
and
light. Mina closed her eyes to soak in the feelings it invoked in her. As 
soon
as she closed her eyes, she felt herself falling and Quintis lost from her
grasp.

Just as it seemed as though Mina was going to hit something, she shot up to 
find
herself lying in a hospital bed. Her head, side and left knee hurt very 
badly.
Mina looked around, knowing she wouldn't have much time. She found a clock,
which read, 10:00pm. She looked at her arm to find an IV needle in it. She
pulled it out as well as many of the other various wires and tubes that were
covering her body. What was still attached to her, just fell out as she 
stood up
and ran out of the room. There were doctors all over the place and one 
seemed to
recognise her as he ran after her. Mina knew that she wouldn't be able to 
let
him catch her...if he did, she wouldn't have the time to get there. Her side 
and
knee hurt so badly though.

As Mina ran past a window, she found that she was two floors above ground 
level.
She continued to run down the hall and quickly found a staircase that led 
down.
She ran down the two flights of stairs and out the side door. She ran across 
the
parking lot as fast as she could. The mall was across the street which meant
that Quintis' building was about a 5 minute run but in her current state, it
would take her about 7 minutes to run it. Mina stopped for a moment. She 
would
need to transform too and she could run faster and jump higher as a Sailor
Scout. She ran as quickly as she could into a side alley where she pulled 
her
Transformation Pen out of seemingly nowhere and chanted the magic words and 
she
had turned into the Sailor Scout called Venus. The pain had been greatly 
dulled
but it was still there.

Sailor Venus ran out of the alleyway as fast as she could. She sprinted as 
fast
as she could towards Quintis' building. Venus quickly turned around the last
corner and Quintis' building was visible. Venus ran into the building and 
ran up
the stairs as fast as her legs would carry her. Venus reached the top floor 
and
face faulted. There was no way to the top of the building. Venus ran back 
down
the steps and out of the building. She looked around as best as she could. 
Mina
decided to try to jump to the roof. Mina found that she couldn't quite make 
it.
She ran around the building and found a plank sticking out the side of the
building about halfway up. Venus jumped on it and used it like a springboard 
and
she easily jumped to the very top of the building.

Sailor Venus looked around and smack in the middle, the metal plate with the
symbol of Venus was there. Venus stood on it and looked at her watch. It 
read,
10:12pm and 50 seconds. She looked up at the moon, which looked rather 
large. It
seemed unusually large in the sky. Sailor Venus pointed her finger to the 
moon
and started to concentrate and aimed as carefully as possible. Venus heard 
her
watch beep and yelled, "Crescent Beam Smash!" and a beam of light shot from 
her
index finger. She waited a second after the shot went off...nothing. She 
yelled
her attacks namesake again.. Again nothing. Venus was getting weak from 
these
attacks and her bodies condition as it was before. Venus shot again and 
again.
Still nothing. She glanced at her watch. She felt incredibly tired as she
glanced at it. It said she only had 5 seconds left. She aimed as carefully 
as
possible and at the last second, let her attack fly loose. Sailor Venus
waited...and waited...and waited. And nothing. She glanced at her watch, 
which
read; "10:13" and 15 seconds...she didn't get it. Mina let her arms flop to 
her
sides and she fell to her knees in defeat. Her only chance for a thousand 
years
and she messed it up...her aim wasn't good enough.. Or it was her judgment.
Tears started to stream down her cheeks and the sobs came. Maybe that was
nothing but a dream. But everything in the dream that was pointed out was 
right.
This sheet of metal was here and all of the times were right. She was 
exhausted
too. Everything was finally catching up with her. She doubted that she would 
be
able to fire another Crescent Beam anyways.

"Venus. Stand up. I've stopped time for the second being. You have one last
chance." Venus looked up and seen Queen Serenity standing in front of her. 
Sweat
beads forming on her forehead in effort.

"What?" Venus looked at her watch, which read, 10:12pm and 59 seconds.

"Take your shot.. aim carefully.. but not with your eyes... aim with your
mind... don't take too long or it will be too late. Hurry." Looking back at
Queen Serenity, Venus decided to try one last time. Serenity had her eyes 
shut
tightly and her teeth gritted and sweat drenching her face.

Venus raised her arm back towards the sky. Mina thought and concentrated on 
the
moon as best as she could. Her mind was a tad foggy and unfocused. Mina 
shook
her head, sweat beads flying off of her face. Then she felt it.. It was an
impulse and it came just as Serenity yelled out for Venus to do it.

"Venus Crescent Beam!!" and a thin yellow beam shot out of Venus' finger. 
Just
after Venus shot her last beam, she collapsed from complete exhaustion but 
was
caught in someone's arms. Venus strained her eyes to focus on the face in 
front
of her. Her eyes did focus for a millisecond and she realized...she had won.

Her eyes immediately unfocused and she heard Quintis say, "You did good 
Mina.
Thank you." and Mina passed out from complete exhaustion. She passed out 
with a
light smile on her face. A smile of triumph and happiness. She could be with 
the
one she loved the most.

Rei felt her day had amounted to nothing. Her teacher was persistent on what 
was
on Rei's mind but she couldn't bring herself to tell her teacher what. 
Something
was nagging at the back of her mind that telling her teacher would be a very 
bad
idea. The teacher seemed to keep hinting to something but Rei couldn't 
figure it
out.

Now Rei had heard that Mina had been hit by a car while pushing some kid out 
of
the road of a car that was going too fast. The kid was all right but a car
creamed her. Now that Rei had just arrived at the hospital, she heard that 
Mina
had woken up and now she had ran out of the hospital and she was apparently 
a
tad psychotic. The doctors say they lost her as soon as she left the 
hospital
grounds. Rei asked if anyone seen where she went and they told her that she 
went
down the street. The street ended up at where Quintis used to live. Mina had
stuck around there a lot lately so Rei decided to check it out.

Once Rei got there, she seen a thin stream of light shoot in the sky towards 
the
moon and it came from the building that replaced the one that Quintis used 
to
live in. Rei ran over as quickly as she could, figuring that Mina was 
fighting a
monster. It was odd because there were no explosion of lights other then
that...and that last one seemed very weak. Rei reached the front door to the
building and seen a silhouette jump off of the top of the building and land 
on
the ground. Rei ran after it, being as unnoticeable as she could. When she 
was
right behind the figure, Rei stepped on a stick that obviously alerted it to 
her
presence. She felt something really cold on her neck and it seemed to be an 
edge
of some sort. Probably a knife but then, it seemed too long to be one so she
guessed it to be a sword. She froze, in plain out fear.

"Who is this?" came an oddly familiar voice that Rei didn't expect to
hear...ever.

"Quintis?" Rei asked.

"That's me, but who are you?" Quintis asked.

"It's me, Rei. You know, Mina's friend." Rei felt the cold blade removed 
from
her neck. Rei heard a sheathing sound and Quintis continued to walk away. 
Rei
decided to keep up with her.

"Rei...it's been a very long time. Where's the hospital? Mina needs help.. 
She's
hurt." Quintis asked.

"Umm.. You're going in the right direction.. sort of. Hey! Why are you here? 
I
saw you die!" Rei exclaimed.

"It's really hard to explain. Maybe some other time. I promised to get you 
with
Serena, did I not?" inquired Quintis. Rei felt a deep blush spread across 
her
cheeks and she gave an affirmative. "Even after a hundred years, I still
remember that...surprising."

Rei was confused. "A hundred years? It's been about a month!"

Quintis understood and replied with, "No. While it may have been a month for 
you
I had to wait a hundred long years."

"Really.. That's a very long time. I know that I'll live longer then that 
but
still..." Rei commented. There was a silence the rest of the way back. 
Quintis
was thinking, "I hope that Mina will be ok. I really, really hope.. I don't 
know
what I'd do if I found out that she seriously injured herself doing that..."

Rei was thinking, "I wonder if she really can get Serena to like me. I hope 
so."

Mina woke up really slowly. She opened her eyes but the light was very 
strong
and she immediately closed them again. She tried to call out to someone but 
it
came out as more of a moan. It alerted someone to her side whom immediately
grabbed her hand. They said something but it was only garbled garbage to 
her.
She tried to open her eyes again and again the light was too bright. She 
called
out for someone to turn off the lights but again it came out as more as 
moaning.
She heard what sounded like a question and she simply said, as clearly and
loudly as possible. "Lights!" She felt some shifting around the room and 
felt
the light level being drastically reduced. Probably turned off the lights 
and
closed the curtains.

Again, Mina tried to open her eyes. This time she could keep them open but
everything was out of focus.. terribly out of focus. Mina started to worry. 
She
couldn't hear right and she couldn't see either...she could barley talk and 
she
still felt incredibly exhausted. Mina decided it best to go to sleep. She 
turned
her head to the side, took a deep breath and then sleep quickly overcame 
her.

"Wow! You say she woke up today? It was just last night that she was hit by 
that
car and she was running around later that night too." the doctor exclaimed.

"Yes. When do you think she will be good to go home?" Quintis asked.

"Probably tomorrow...depending on how she feels. If she feels really good, 
we
may be able to let her out tonight. No horse playing or anything like that 
for
at least a week after she goes home. Make sure she gets lots of 
calcium...her
bones may not have broken from that car hitting her but they are still very,
very weak and fragile." the doctor explained.

"I see. I'll be sure to pass that information on to her parents. Thank you."
Quintis said and turned around and went back into Mina's hospital room.

Mina was still sleeping and Quintis resumed her position of sitting on the 
chair
next to her bed.

After a few minutes, Mina's eyes opened and she groaned out in pain and a 
hand
flew up to her head and she rubbed her forehead.

Quintis walked over to Mina's bed and grabbed Mina's hand with her own and
asked, "You with me now, Mina?" Quintis asked. Mina turned her head to look 
at
Quintis.

"Holy shit, my head hurts." Mina cursed. Quintis chuckled and Mina smiled,
despite the throbbing pain in her head.

"How do you feel?" Quintis asked lightly.

"I'm sore all over and have a splitting headache...other then that, I've 
never
been better." said Mina sarcastically although it did have a certain truth
behind it.

"I see. I'd kiss you everywhere it hurts and give you Aspirin but you're on
stronger stuff then aspirin and the doctor says no fooling around until 
you're
all better." Quintis said with a smirk.

"I'd like that too but if it's doctors orders...then I will have to abide by
it." Mina said with a smirk of her own. "So, when do I get to go home?"

"Maybe tonight if you are feeling very good and meet the doctors standards 
but
if not, then tomorrow morning." Quintis replied.

Mina's smirk immediately disappeared. "I better get better by tonight! I 
don't
want to stay here any longer then I have to."

Her own smirk disappearing, Quintis said, "So do I. This chair isn't the 
most
comfortable." Both girls chuckled at that but Mina grabbed her head and 
chest at
the same time as laughing made her headache worse and her chest hurt more 
too.

The doctors had decided that Mina was in good enough condition to go home 
but at
the first sign of trouble, she was to be brought back in. The doctors 
explained
that it was a miracle that she didn't have a single broken bone.

Mina's parent's were away for the week and couldn't be contacted so that 
left
Quintis to look after Mina by herself...not that either minded. It also 
meant
that they both had the house to themselves for a few days.

With a great deal of Quintis' help, they had finally made it into Mina's 
house.
They had just entered Mina's front door and Quintis asked, "Where would you 
like
to go first?"

"Bed...I'm so exausted!" Mina replied.

"It's only 7:30!" Quintis exclaimed.

Mina looked at her watch for a second. "So it is. Oh well...I'm still very
tired. My room's that way." she said, pointing down the hall towards the 
left.
Quintis put Mina's arm back around her neck to help support her. Quintis 
opened
the door to Mina's room. Mina's room was that of a typical spoiled rotten
American girl. She had a nice big bed with orange blankets. Her curtains 
were
white and her dresser was pink. The walls were an off-white colour. There 
was a
desk next to the dresser that had a mirror and what looked like hair-care
products and a few perfumes and such. Not much in the realms of make-up 
though.
A few posters adorned the walls. All of them were manga posters.

"Jeez, you look like a spoiled American girl!" exclaimed Quintis.

"I know," Mina replied. "I'm thinking of re-doing the whole thing. I don't 
know
what to do with it yet though. Anyways, you wouldn't want to stay for a 
little
while would you?" Mina asked, a light blush spreading across her cheeks.

"You know that we can't do that. Besides, I've got to talk to some people. 
Just
some promises I need to keep. Nothing special really." Quintis lied, she had 
to
meet Rei soon about her promise to help her get into Serena's life a little
more. Quintis walked over to Mina's bed and pulled the blankets down and 
helped
Mina into her bed. Once Mina was in her bed, Quintis kissed her lightly but
showing a great passion in her kiss. Mina kissed her back. Mina thought it 
was
odd, the way Quintis would act. It would be like they were sisters one 
minute
and then they would be like lovers the next. "I love you." Quintis whispered
after breaking apart from their kiss.

"I love you too, Quintis. Please come back as soon as possible." Mina said, 
her
eyes glimmering with love.

"You know I will. I've been apart from you for nearly a hundred years. I 
don't
want to be apart any longer then we need to be now. I love you." Quintis 
stood
up and said, "I'll see you soon. 'Night."

"Night." Mina replied. Quintis walked out of her room and silently closed 
Mina's
door.

Quintis walked out of the house and as soon as she closed the door, she 
leant
against it. Quintis started to think, "God this is hard! I can't go too far 
with
her. Just kissing her, it's really hard to not go further. I just don't want 
to
hurt her. She's only, what? 15? I've lost count of how old I really am, 
although
I look about 16. I'm closer to 116 then 16...it's been so long too. I just 
don't
want her to think that I don't love her...I love her far too much..." 
Quintis
mind started to wander even further but she quickly snapped out of it and
decided to walk to the café that Rei had told her about. Apparently they 
made
really good doughnuts and coffee. Two things that Quintis really missed. 
They
weren't anywhere near as missed as Mina was but still greatly missed all the
same.

Quintis looked at the little sheet of paper with the address and directions 
on
it. After a while of trying to figure out the poorly drawn map, Quintis 
finally
broke down and asked for directions. She asked some man who was putting gas 
in
his car and he told her. When she looked at the map again, she found it did 
make
sense. After a few more minutes, Quintis was standing in front of the new 
Café.
Quintis walked in and found the café was fairly large and only a few people 
were
in it. There was one man with long brown hair down to the middle of his back 
and
he was wearing a black trench coat, which had odd white shoulder-pads. There 
was
a woman with short, pale blue hair too. She wore a purple tank top and 
skirt,
both of which were tattered slightly at the edges. Both of them had Katana
blades strapped to their backs. The woman with the short blue hair was 
talking
to some other woman who was wearing similar clothes but they were a dark 
blue.
Her breasts were also really big. This other woman also had feline like 
eyes,
which were black, and her hair was white. It wasn't very long but it did go 
past
her shoulders. She didn't have a sword like the other two. (Authors Note: 
These
are all characters that I have created, just so that you know. I bet you can
guess who the two girls are but good luck on the guy.)

The man in the black trench coat was reading a newspaper and sipping at a
coffee. Quintis also caught both of the women looking at each other's 
breasts.
The one with the white hair was eating a doughnut and the other woman had an
empty bowl in front of her and seemed to be intently listening to what the 
other
woman was saying. One thing that Quintis was sure of was that she had met 
these
people before...She just had no clue where or when and she couldn't remember
their names to save her life.

Quintis shrugged and looked around the Café some more. In the back corner, 
Rei
was sitting in the corner, by herself and stirring a fork around in a bowl 
of
something but Quintis couldn't see what it was. Quintis went to the counter 
and
ordered two doughnuts and a coffee. In the states, these things were really 
easy
to get a hold of but it wasn't so easy here. They were also a fair bit more
expensive. Quintis took her tray and walked over to where Rei was sitting 
and
still stirring her food. Quintis could make out that she was stirring some
chicken soup around. Once Quintis sat down in the chair opposite to Rei, 
Rei's
head shot up to look at Quintis.

"Gee...off in your own little world huh?" When Rei heard this, a deep blush
spread across her cheeks. It was plainly visible to Quintis and she felt the
need to comment on it, "Oh! Thinking about her?" Rei simply nodded in reply 
and
looked out the window into the darkness that was the night of Tokyo.

After a while, Rei looked back at her soup and stirred it around a bit and 
said,
"I can't get her off my mind. She plagues my days and nights. I don't know 
how
much longer I can keep going on like this."

By now, Quintis had already devoured both of her doughnuts and noticed that 
Rei
obviously hadn't touched her soup. She felt it a shame that such good soup 
was
going to waste. "Hey Rei, are you going to eat that?" Rei shook her head and
pushed her tray over to Quintis who promptly devoured the soup too.

"Gee, I'd swear that you haven't eaten for a decade!" Rei commented.

"It's been a century. Not a decade."

"Wow...I pity you. No food for that long..." Rei commented.

"I bet you haven't eaten well for the past few weeks either have you?" 
Quintis
asked. Rei shook her head in response.

"Not really, just haven't been that hungry at all." Rei commented.

"I see. I guess the only real way to fix that is to hook you up with your 
friend
now isn't it?" Quintis asked causing Rei to blush a deep red again. "What 
was
her name again? I don't remember."

"Serena." Rei sighed.

"I see. So I doubt her boyfriend will be very happy if he finds that his
girlfriend has been with another girl?"

"That would probably be a good guess."

"I see...You won't be able to keep this a secret forever you know, he WILL 
find
out someday." Quintis warned. "That's something you will have to deal with. 
You
wouldn't mind sleeping with him from time to time would you. I doubt he 
would
have any problems with a ménage a trois."

"Yes I would! I don't mind sharing her love but I don't love him. I used to 
have
a crush on him for a while but it didn't last very long, especially since he
didn't seem very interested. I just don't care about him that way anymore. 
He's
my friend, not anything else."

"I see. Well, is he leaving town for a while any time soon?" Quintis asked.

"Not that I know of." Rei replied.

"Well then, we'll have to change that now won't we? But for our plan to 
work, he
has to be going alone right?" Quintis said with a knowing smirk.

Rei didn't quite understand what Quintis was hinting to and so she replied 
with,
"What do you mean?"

"We make him win a trip for one to some other part of the world like China 
or
America." Quintis said, her smirk growing wider.

"Wait a minute! I believe I remember that he had to go to America once this
semester was over so he could go to Collage!" Rei remembered Serena 
complaining
that she would be all alone for 5 months while he was gone to Collage. He 
would
see her for a month in-between semesters. Rei explained this to Quintis.

"This works out well. Just when is he leaving?" Quintis asked.

"This is his last week of school here. He leaves Saturday morning!" Rei
exclaimed, getting excited. 'I just might be able to pull this off!'

Mina woke up early the next morning. She decided to see if she could walk on 
her
own today. She could with the help of a banister yesterday. Mina swung her 
feet
around to the edge of her bed and sat up. Sitting up did hurt a lot but it
wasn't nearly as bad as sitting up yesterday. Using her bedpost as support, 
she
stood up. Her legs were fairly shaky but they did support her weight. Mina 
let
go of her bedpost and waited a moment. It seemed like she wasn't going to 
fall
so she took a step forward. The pain in her knee was great but she could 
have
sworn that she walked on worse at one point of time or another.

Mina took the step and then another and yet another and by now she was at 
her
bedroom door. She grabbed the handle and turned it and pulled the door open.
Then she stepped out into the hall and walked to the living room. It was a
little easier then she had a first figured it would be.

When Mina looked towards the couch to find Quintis sprawled across it in the
laziest fashion she had ever seen before. Her mouth was hanging open and 
snoring
lightly. She had her right arm and leg over the edge of the couch and 
dangling
off the edge.

Mina was about to burst out laughing at how funny Quintis looked and covered 
her
mouth just in time to stop it. Quintis had her green cloak lying on the 
floor.
Mina looked back at her. Quintis was completely covered by the blanket that 
they
always kept over the back of the couch. The only bits of clothing that Mina
could see were some white socks. Mina felt she had to leave the room before 
she
would burst out laughing and wake Quintis up from what was probably her 
first
good night of sleep.

Mina decided that the best place for her to go would be the bathroom and 
have a
nice bath. She didn't get to have one the day before and she hated missing
baths. They were about the only chance she ever got to relax. Mina went back
down the hall and went into the door across from her room. Mina chuckled at
remembering what Quintis looked like.

Serena was walking down the street. Darien had just left to America to 
finish
his college course. She felt she would be completely bored the entire time 
he
was gone. She felt she was already missing him.

Serena had been looking at the ground as she was walking away from the 
airport.
She looked up when she heard her name called out. Rei was waving to her from
across the street and running towards her.

"Hey Serena! What's up?" Rei asked when she met up with Serena.

"Oh! Hi Rei...nothing, now that Dariens gone. I don't believe the nerve of 
that
guy! Preferring school to me!" Serena mocked anger towards him.

"Oh. I see. You wouldn't want.. You wouldn't want to.. go out tomorrow 
night,
would you?" Rei asked, a little uneasily. Serena could swear that Rei was
blushing but when she tried to pay attention to it, there was no evidence of
such a thing.

Serena inwardly shrugged and said, "Sure! Why not? I've got nothing better 
to do
now that it's the weekend and Darien's gone." Serena explained.

"Yeah, I know. You told me he was going to leave today. I thought that maybe 
if
we go out, that you will feel a little better." Rei explained.

Serena was curious, Rei was never this nice to her...ever! "Hey! Why are you
being so nice to me?"

Rei was sort of expecting this. She gave a devilish smirk and her cheeks 
flushed
a light red and said, "I have my own agenda."

"You have your own agenda? Most people do but that still doesn't explain why 
you
are being so nice to me!"

Rei's smirk only grew in size. Serena didn't have a clue. "You will find out
soon enough." Rei said. Rei glanced at her watch and decided that if she was 
to
get her chores done, she should get them done now. "I've really got to get
going. I'll stop by your place at about 5:00 and then we'll go."

"Are the other girls coming too?" Serena asked.

"No. They're all a tad busy tomorrow." Rei said, thinking that it was a good
thing that they all were busy. Amy had a test on Monday so she was probably
studying her brains out. Lita was out with Ken for the weekend and Mina was 
hurt
so she couldn't either even if Serena decided to ask.
This seemed almost too convenient...like some deity wanted them to get 
together.

"Ok. I'll see you tomorrow then. Actually, wait a second, where are we going 
to
be eating?" Serena asked.

"Don't worry about it! I'm sure that you will like it though! See you 
meatball
head!" Rei yelled while she was on her way back to her temple. Serena was a
little confused. She had a feeling that she completely missed something 
about
that whole conversation. She just didn't have the first clue. Serena 
shrugged
and continued on her way home. She resumed looking at the pavement but 
instead
of thoughts of Darien entering her mind, thoughts of Rei were entering her 
mind.

Serena looked up at the crosswalk and found that this was the turn to go 
down
the road to her own house. Serena turned left here and continued on her way.
This street was far busier then the last one so she had to keep her head up 
to
watch that she didn't get knocked over by some of the bigger adults.

After walking down that road for a little while, the last corner was 
visible.
Serena had to take a right here. She crossed the street and continued to 
walk to
her own house. This particular sidewalk was practically vacant compared to 
the
last one she was on. Serena continued to look at the ground while she 
walked,
images of Rei filling her head once again. Serena started thinking, 
"Wow...when
she's nice to me...it's totally different. She usually insults me although 
it's
usually for the best. I'm supposed to be a princess and even a queen in the
future and I'm STILL a total klutz.. But how come is it that whenever she
insults me, it still hurts more then I let on. A lot more. Now that she 
hasn't
really insulted or been mean to me, I feel...warm. Like when I'm around 
Darien."
Just at the thought of comparing them, Serena knew that although she loved
Darien as much as she could and would do anything for him...it wasn't any
different with Rei.

Serena stopped walking for a moment to let that sink in. She loved Rei. At
first, she found it hard to believe herself but then she found it no more
difficult to believe then that she loved Darien too. Now Serena had a major
problem...Who would she pick? Although all things considered, Serena knew 
she
didn't have that much of a choice. She and Darien still had to become Queen 
and
King of Crystal Tokyo. Rei didn't love her the same way either. (At least 
not
that she knew.) Serena sighed. All she knew for sure was that the next week
would be very hectic for her. Serena knew that from that day forward, her 
life
would never be the same. Maybe her date with Rei tomorrow would allow a good
opportunity to make itself present.

Mina had walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body and 
a
towel currently drying her hair. It seemed a waste of effort, as there was 
so
much blond hair there. Mina walked into the room across the hall to her own
room. She removed the top towel, which was drenched from trying to dry her 
hair.
Mina sat down at the chair at the stand with all of her hair care products. 
She
grabbed her blow drier and preceded to dry her hair to the best of the 
ability
she had. Which, all things considered, was very good. After about half an 
hour
and half dried hair, Mina grabbed a spray bottle and proceeded to spray the
substance all over her hair. Then she grabbed her hard bristled comb and
proceeded to detangle her hair. A rather painful task. The stuff she just
applied to her hair helped its shine and made it a lot easier to comb.

Mina tugged and pulled at her blond hair for about five minutes with the 
comb
when she wasn't paying any attention, she felt it instantly snatched away 
from
her hand. Mina whipped around in her chair and seen Quintis there with her 
comb
in her hand. She was wearing her green cloak again...as usual.

Quintis said, "Here, let me." Mina turned around in her chair and faced the
mirror. Here she could see both herself and Quintis. Quintis started to work 
on
Mina's hair and found Quintis was better at this then she was. There were 
few
times when Quintis actually had to pull at knots and even then, it didn't 
hurt
too much.

"Wow Quintis, you're pretty good at this!" Mina finally exclaimed after 
Quintis
had finished combing out all of the knots.

"I try. I'd really enjoy a nice bath right now too, though. I had to go a 
100
years without a bath. I didn't ever get dirty for some reason but I still 
miss
it."

"Wow. I know how you must feel. The bathroom's right across the hall...take 
your
time." Mina explained before turning around and lightly kissing Quintis. It
wasn't an expected move and rather sudden. Quintis was completely caught off
guard. She quickly returned the kiss and it deepened gradually. Mina opened 
her
mouth and stuck her tongue out to probe at Quintis' whose tongue met hers
halfway. They started to get really into the kiss before instinctively, 
Quintis
started to push Mina back. This hurt Mina a great deal and she cried out 
against
the kiss. Quintis quickly remembered how Mina would still be hurt and 
quickly
backed off and helped Mina stand still.

Wide-eyed, Quintis cried, "Oh my god Mina! I didn't ever mean to-"

"It's ok Quintis. A small amount of pain is a small sacrifice I will have to
take. I'll take it for you in a millisecond." Mina explained, holding her 
sides
with her hands, as that was where the pain was centred.

"Still Mina. I can't stand the thought of causing you any pain! That's why I 
try
to distance myself whenever possible. I'm afraid, I might hurt you...like I 
just
did." Quintis said quietly, looking at the floor.

Mina stood up and hugged Quintis. Standing and walking around didn't hurt
anymore, other then a dull pain in her sides and her knee. The pain would be
gone tomorrow but she would still be tender for a day or two more. Getting 
hit
with a car never did anything good to anyone's body.

"Go have a bath. I promise you will feel better when you get out." Mina said
tenderly. Quintis sniffled and nodded. "There's towel's in the closet beside 
the
door to my room. It's to the left when you go out the door. You can help
yourself." Quintis nodded. Maybe a bath would be just what the doctor 
ordered.
Or so the saying goes. This was one of the few American sayings that Mina 
could
ever get right. Quintis walked out of the room and Mina watched her go.

After her door was shut, Mina closed her blinds to keep prying eyes at bay. 
Then
she took off her towel and let it fall to the floor. Mina quickly walked 
over to
her own closet and she caught a glimpse of her body in her full body mirror.
Mina had looked at herself naked in it before but she never really paid THAT
much attention to herself and never found it much of a big deal. Mina looked 
at
herself now and it was different.

Mina found a few greatly faded bruises on her cheeks. Turning around and 
looking
over her shoulder, Mina found a large bruise in the middle of her back. It 
too
was fading but it was still large and would be there for at least another 
day.
It stretched from just above her hips all the way around her lower back and 
to
the other side of her hips. It looked like this was what had taken the most
beating of the car. She had a bump on the back of her head too. A few cut 
and
scrape marks covered a great deal of her body. Her legs were pretty badly
bruised too. All of these marks from her battle with that car (which she 
lost)
would all be gone by the day after tomorrow when she woke up. Her parents 
would
be coming home the next day. It would be very possible that they would never
find out about it.

That was looking at the bad parts of her body. Mina looked at her shape in 
the
mirror. She was a little tall for a woman of her age. She had very long 
legs.
Her breasts weren't huge by any means but they weren't small either. They
were...nice. They were firm but not too firm. Mina grabbed one and lifted 
its
weight and gently squeezed it. It gave off an odd, pleasant sensation. Mina
looked at her hips. They were wide enough but weren't wide so she looked 
fat.
She turned around again and looked over her shoulder. Her butt
was...well...healthy looking. Mina was skinny but she did obviously have 
enough
extra meat on her bones to keep her from looking too skinny. As far as shape
goes, Mina guessed that she was perfect...she couldn't see anything that she
would change about her body if she was asked. Nothing. Not a single thing.

Mina chuckled at herself, "Maybe Venus' blood truly runs through my veins!" 
And
then she burst out laughing.

Mina heard the water in the bathroom turned on. Looking back on it, all of
Mina's friends were fairly wealthy. They all go to expensive schools. Amy 
would
be the only one that wasn't exactly rich but her mom was a doctor and so the 
two
of them still lived comfortably together.

Mina turned away from the mirror and looked through her wardrobe from 
something
appropriate to wear for the day.

Serena was running through a lot of her stuff, looking for something good to
wear to on her date with Rei. Serena was looking for something that looked
casual but at the same time alluring and sexy. Running between her closet 
where
all of her very good clothes were and her dresser where all of her regular
clothes were, Serena was still having a bit of a hard time finding out what 
to
wear.

Serena, a little upset let out a growl of frustration and decided on wearing 
a
brown, pleated skirt like the one she wore as part of her school uniform and 
an
orange furry sweater that she liked to wear from time to time. She found a 
pair
of crescent moon shaped earrings and put them on. Serena glanced at the 
clock,
which read, 4:50pm. Rei was supposed to be here in 10 minutes!

Serena looked at herself in the mirror to see if she needed anything else or
anything seemed out of place. Using her hands to straighten her skirt, 
Serena
looked at herself bending forward. She got just what she wanted. The shirt 
was
baggy enough to allow a great deal of cleavage to show when she did bend
forward. When she was up straight, it didn't look anything revealing at all. 
The
skirt was longer like the one that Lita wore with her school uniform.

When Serena felt satisfied with her appearance, she threw on a pair of plain
white socks and glanced at her clock again. It read, 4:55pm. Rei would be 
there
in about 5 minutes now. Serena grabbed her purse and checked to make sure 
she
had enough money in case something happened. It was always good to bring 
extra
money just in case.

Serena threw on her coat and was about to run out the door and wait for Rei 
when
she heard a familiar voice.

"Serena...Darien is gone but a single day and you're already going out to 
party!
You make me wonder child." It was Luna.

"Luna...I'm going out to dinner with Rei." Serena explained.

Luna jumped from her doorframe and landed on her bed where she sat down and
continued to talk, "I'm getting a different vibe from you Serena. Are you 
sure
it's just you and Rei?" Luna inquired, licking her paw and wiping her face 
with
it.

"Yes! Just me and Rei!" Serena blurted out, a little too vehemently and 
quickly.

Luna couldn't help but point out Serena's speech mistake. "That's just Rei 
and
I."

Serena couldn't be bothered with such trivial matters; she was still working 
on
her plan on what to do with Rei. (That's NOT what's implied in that
statement...well, if you REALLY want to think about it that way, I guess it 
is.)

"Look Luna, I'm only going out with her because she offered." Serena lied at
first, that was the idea but it had changed drastically so it was more like 
a
half-truth.

Luna was shocked and it showed as plain as day on her face, "Now something
really is wrong! As if Rei really would ask you to go on a date with her! 
She's
always so mean to you and you're just as mean to her in return!"

"Calm down Luna. Darien left yesterday and I guess Rei thought I was looking
really down and decided to try to cheer me up a bit. I don't know why she 
would
either but if wants to change thing's between how we act to each other, I 
have
NO problem with it!" Serena said, matter-of-factly.

"Ok...you never seem to have wanted things any different between you 
two...Are
you sure there isn't an ulterier motive, Serena?" asked Luna who thought she 
may
have been on to something.

Serena crossed her arms in front of her chest and put a semi-angry 
expression on
her face and put the best act she could have ever done on, "Luna, god-forbid 
me
from wanting to become real friends with Rei! Just for your information, all
Rei's ever done to me was try and make me a better person by pointing out 
all of
my mistakes...not unlike yourself! Now if she wants to be friends and give 
us a
better relationship, it's all good as far as I care!" Serena thought she 
should
have gotten an Oscar for her performance.

Luna was awe-struck and left speechless. Upon hearing the doorbell ring 
Serena
said, "That would be Rei right there! I'm going off to have my date now! See 
you
LATER Luna!" Serena said, still angry, then she slammed her room's door shut 
and
went downstairs to open the door and end the never-ending doorbell.

"Serena dear, someone's at the door...I'm busy making supper so I can't get 
it
and you know your father isn't home from work yet. It's probably your friend
anyway!" Serena's mother called to her from the kitchen.

Serena opened the door and there stood Rei, dressed up like Tuxedo Mask from
head to toe. Top hat and cape too. Even the white gloves and the white 
glasses.
Rei reached up with her hand and removed the glasses and took off the hat.

Serena thought she would die right there. "Wow Rei! You look good!" Serena
complimented.

"Thanks. You ready to go?" Rei asked.

"Yup!" Serena said and finished doing up her fall jacket. "Ok mom! I'll be 
home
by curfew! Bye! Love you!" Serena heard her mom yell the same thing back as 
she
closed the front door on her way out.

There was a taxicab waiting at the end of the sidewalk that went up to 
Serena's
house. Serena commented with, "Geez, you're not holding back much are you? 
Maybe
I should have gotten a little more dressed up?"

"No. You look good." Rei said lightly. She was luckily that it was the time 
of
year where at 5:00pm; it would already be getting pretty dark. Plus, the 
fall
weather always meant overcast skies. She was blushing furiously. Serena was 
far
from looking good. Serena looked unbelievable no matter what she wore and 
Rei
left it to her own imagination that Serena would so good naked that she 
nearly
got a nose bleed thinking about it.

It wasn't only Serena's physical beauty that caught the attention of Rei's 
heart
but it was also Serena's purity and innocence. Rei know Serena wasn't quite 
as
'innocent' as everyone thought she was but she still seemed innocent 
anyways.
But that wasn't all either, Serena's antics were always able to make Rei 
laugh
and she was a true friend when she needed Serena to be one. Serena just 
seemed a
big magnet to people. The main thing that Rei fell in love with was how much 
of
her crap that Serena had put up with and she would forget about it the next 
day.
Not because she would simply forget it but because she wanted to forget it 
and
try to start anew the next day.

Yeah...there were too many things that made Rei come to love Serena. Serena
loved Rei for most of the same reasons. A few of the different reasons would 
be
Rei's insatiable desire to take what she wanted. There wasn't a single thing
that Rei really wanted that she didn't get unless Serena didn't know about 
it.
Although Serena didn't know it, there was one thing that Rei didn't have 
that
she really wanted but Rei was working on changing that.

Once they reached the cab, Rei opened the door for Serena who thanked her 
and
went around to the other side and got in.

"So Rei, where are we going to eat?" Serena asked. Rei had hid the glasses 
and
top hat in her bag that she was carrying around.

"Hey sir, please take us to The Little Restaurant on the Corner." Rei called
out. The driver nodded and they were on their way.

"Hey Rei, isn't that an American restaurant?" Serena asked.

"Nope! Canadian!" Rei exclaimed.

Serena face faulted, "What's the difference?"

Rei's eyes opened wide then she calmed down a bit. "The difference is quite
large. I have quite a few American and Canadian friends. The American's tend 
to
be very bold and forthcoming. Plus, they usually don't care about the 
quality of
their food. Canadians are in general shy and quiet and they do pay more
attention to their food. Picky eaters them. Except when it comes to 
alcoholic
beverages. Canadians can also hold liquor a lot better then Americans can. 
Just
like the American's all like football, the Canadian's all like Hockey. Those 
are
most of the major differences, I guess." Rei explained.

"Wow...I guess they are pretty different." Serena gasped, not having 
expected
such a strong reply.

"Sorry for bursting out like that." Rei apologized, "It's just that 
Canadians
tend to be very strong on that they are very different from Americans and 
never
let me live it down that I asked that same question." Rei relaxed a bit and
shifted around to get slightly closer to Serena. Not enough to be noticed 
but if
it was, Serena probably would have written in off as nothing important.

There was a silence as neither girl had any idea what to talk about. Just 
then
Serena asked, "Aren't they kind of expensive?"

Rei nodded, "Yeah...but I'm good friends with the owner of it and we already
have arrangements."

"Oh, I see." Serena said, wistfully. Serena leant against the window and 
turned
her head to look at Rei. Rei was oddly, doing the same but Serena was too 
enrapt
by Rei's beauty to take much notice. It wasn't until eye contact was made 
that
either really realized what they were doing but didn't stop.

The cab came to a halt after about a moment, making both of them aware of 
their
surroundings again. Both girls blushed heavily and turned away. Serena 
stepped
out of the cab and she saw Rei hand the man some money to pay for the cab 
ride
and she exited the cab which sped off to get it's next fare.

"Here we are." Rei said standing next to Serena. Rei ran a hand thorough her
hair before starting to walk towards the doors which had a sign above it 
saying,
"The Little Restaurant on the Corner" in rather big, bold, English letters. 
It
was repeated in smaller Japanese characters underneath the English ones. 
Serena
quickly followed her.

They were greeted by a friendly looking man of about 25. His facial features
showing that he wasn't Japanese but either American or Canadian. There 
really
wasn't any way to tell them apart. Chances are that he was Canadian, 
considering
this was a Canadian restaurant.

"Hello." The man said, his Japanese thickly accented with the typical north
American accent. "Rei? You look very pretty today,...as always. This is your
friend, I presume?" he asked, looking at Serena. Rei nodded.

"Yes, she's mine and you can't have her!" Rei joked. All three of them 
laughed
lightly, both Serena and Rei blushing lightly. They both wished Rei wasn't
joking.

"I see then!" The man said, "Anyways, you're table is ready. Someone will be 
by
your table in a moment to take your order." and then the man walked them to 
the
table. This restaurant was a little more classy and one of the more 
expensive
places in town. Little wasn't the way to describe it. This place was rather
large, actually and fairly busy too. Not too busy but still busy enough. It 
must
have just been the time of day.

After they sat down, the waiter dropped two menu's in front of the girls,
excused himself and left, leaving Rei and Serena to themselves. They idly
chattered for a little bit, mainly about school while they waited for their
waiter. After a moment, a waiter appeared. It was a woman in her mid 30's,

on
trying to read the English menu. The waiter nodded and jotted down the order 
and

walked
away to process their order.

"Um...what's 'Feddichini Alfrado'? Isn't it that pasta dish Lita had made at

like

was
actually that Rei didn't want to drink too much because she would have 
trouble
keeping track of what she was here for.

Once they entered the bathroom, one lady who was at the mirror, re-applying

lipstick just finished and she left. Rei led Serena over to the sinks and
grabbed a paper towel and wetted it. Then she tried to apply it but stopped

everything off of it. Serena had a rather sweet taste to her and Rei liked 
it a
lot. She licked her fingers off completely. Serena slumped against Rei,
exhausted.

"Wow Rei! That was awesome!" Serena said wistfully, her eyes still glazed 
over,
just basking in the afterglow.

"I'm very glad you enjoyed it, Serena." Rei replied, her afterglow was

off now. Rei just smiled contentedly. When Serena saw Rei smile, she felt 
happy
too and couldn't help a small smile of her own. Rei and Serena soon fell 
asleep
in each others arms. Both feeling happy and contented just to be held in the

What they didn't know was that someone had watched their entire scene. Queen
Serenity appeared out of seemingly nowhere with a smile on her face. 
Serena's
crescent moon was glowing lightly as was the symbol for Mars on Rei's 
forehead.
Queen Serenity quietly bent down and lightly kissed Serena's forehead. 
Serena
stirred slightly but didn't wake up. "I hope you two can work things out 
with
Darien because he's going to find out sooner then you expect. Good luck, my
children." Then Queen Serenity disappeared in a flash of light.

The day had been agonizingly long for Quintis. Mina had almost completely 
healed
already. All of her bruises had cleared up already but she said she was 
still a
little sore. This was rather typical after a rather gruelling fight against 
a
monster. It would only take 2 full days for all of the marks to disappear 
and
one more for the pain to go with them. Quintis had kicked off her boots and 
fell
over onto the couch, exhausted. The couch was where she was sleeping for the
past few days. Mina had offered a place in her bed next to her but Quintis 
had
said no. She knew that if she were to share a bed with Mina, Quintis 
wouldn't be
able to keep her hands off of her.

Quintis got on the couch more properly and placed her hands behind her head.
There was a lot on her mind. Mina was always on her mind but now Rei was. 
She
didn't know if the plan went bust or all too well. Rei said she would phone 
her
in the morning but still...it would be nice to just know. It would be one 
less
thing for her to worry about. Mina was becoming more persistent. Quintis had
promised to Mina that they could share her bed tomorrow night but only if 
Mina
knew what it meant. Mina had said right away that she understood perfectly 
what
it meant. Quintis just didn't want Mina to do something she may regret 
later.

Quintis had questioned Mina on what it would mean if she was so sure and she
blushed and said that they would end up 'sleeping together'. She also said 
that
it would mean that they would forever be emotionally attached once they had

Quintis had remembered the conversation like it was but a minute ago, when 
in
truth is was that morning.

"Quintis...I understand perfectly what it will mean. My power comes from the
goddess Venus. The goddess of love and beauty. If you sleep with me.. I know
very well, not a whole lot of sleep will be happening. I want that!" Mina 
had
countered to Quintis' biting question.

"You sound doubtful Quintis, why do you question this?" Mina had asked.

"Mina...I love you...so much that there isn't a word that even comes close 
to
describing how much I love you. I had lived a 100 years apart from you. I 
know
what it's like to be apart from my loved one that long. I don't want you to 
have
to deal with it either! It's excruciatingly painful." Quintis had said.

Mina grabbed the taller woman's shoulders. "I know that. I know that once we
have sex, the emotional bond will be too strong for me to break off easily
should you die again but...I WILL NOT allow that to happen! Not while I have

power to stop it."

"What will you do if you have to chose to save me or Serena?" Quintis asked.

Mina only hugged Quintis tightly and started to cry into her shoulder,
"Why...why do you question this so much? Why Quintis?! WHY?! Do you not love 
me?
It shouldn't matter!? "What if's" aren't worth their weight in thought!"

Quintis wrapped her arms around Mina and hugged her back. She used one hand

sorry...it's
just that I've had a hundred years to think of the "what if's""" associated 
with
whether you shot your beam right and got it." The chances of her actually

Mina was simply lucky that Queen Serenity appeared to give her a last

"It's all over Quintis...you're here with me now! I won't let you go, I 
promise.
I just need you to prove to me that you love me!"

Quintis looked down into Mina's eyes which were looking back up to her with
tears brimming up in them. "I do love you Mina! I just don't want you to end 
up
hurt! I know true pain! I hope you never experience it! How would you like 
me to
prove that I love you?" Quintis asked.

"You have to promise me that you will share my bed with me tomorrow night.
Promise me that you will and then we will see." Mina said, tears streaking 
down
her face. She knew it was a lot to ask for but she would accept nothing 
less.

"Ok Mina. I will sleep with you tomorrow night...only because I love you so
much." Quintis said and kissed Mina. Quintis threw her hands over Quintis'

Quintis continued to look at the ceiling. She just then realized that she 
had

Mina's peacefully sleeping face. Indeed, she had been very afraid to get too
close to Mina. She had spent a hundred years away from her and she was 
afraid to
wake up to find it all was just a dream. Most of all, she didn't want Mina 
to go
through the same pain that she had went through.

Mina was going to live forever as was Quintis but only if they don't
accidentally spend all of their energy. Quintis had made that same mistake 
once
already and the trick the had used last time wouldn't work again. It was a 
one
time thing.

Quintis kissed Mina's cheek lightly and got up to leave. She turned towards 
the
door and started to walk away when she felt a hand on her wrist, stopping 
her.
Quintis looked back to find that Mina was awake. She had tears welling up in 
her
eyes.

"Quintis, please...don't go. Please, stop running from your fears. It hurts 
me
but I know it's hurting you even more. You shouldn't have anything to worry
about anymore. Just stop...stop running."

Mina expected Quintis to wrench her hand from her grasp and walk away saying
that she wouldn't understand. It was Mina's last ditch effort. She wanted 
this
more then words could describe. She wanted to show Quintis exactly how much 
she
loved her. What Mina didn't expect was when Quintis turned around fully, 
lent
down and kissed her hard and passionately, pressing against Mina as hard as
possible.

Mina wasn't quite sure what this meant. If it was an OK or if it was just a 
good
night kiss. They kissed like that for nearly five minutes until Quintis 
pushed
against Mina, making her lie back down. These moments were few and rare so

words can justify."

"Thank you Quintis." Mina said, "You don't know how much that means to me. I
love you!"

"I love you too Mina. God do I love you." They kissed one last time for the
night before quickly climbing under the covers to go to sleep. Mina dreamt 
of a
life she didn't think would happen before this day...a life with Quintis.
Quintis dreamt of all of the happy times they could have together in the 
future.

Little did they know that a figure had watched the entire thing with an
approving eye. From the shadows emerged Queen Serenity. She had a loving 
smile
on her face. "I knew you two were meant for each other. I wouldn't have 
helped
out if I didn't think so. Good luck...Mina and Quintis. I'm sure you two 
will be
happy together." Then she disappeared in a flash of light.

Author's notes: Well...this was longer then I expected but it contained two
different storylines too. Well, what do you think of this one? I think it's
decent but I didn't capture the emotion as well as I did in the very first 
story
I wrote. I know my spelling and grammar is going to be much better now, 
though!
Honestly, after re-reading my first story, I don't think I will ever be able 
to
make the emotion seem as real as I did then.
