From gorgo@kwangju.net Sat Dec 20 00:15:22 1997 Date: Thu, 18 Dec 1997 13:34:45 +0900 From: Fred Herriot Subject: [fanfic][lemon][UY] "A Remarkable Destiny" Part IV "What is it?" The colonel stares at his chief advisor, who had just entered the office. "We have her." He smiles. "Excellent," a chuckle dryly escapes his lips, then notices the sadness in her eyes. "Anything else?" "Yes," her voice is hushed. "The strike team was nearly wiped out in the extraction attempt. Only the team leader survived." He blinks surprisedly. "Who?" "He didn't get a chance to clearly ID their attackers. They were on them too fast to get a proper look at. One of them, he suspects, was Ataru Moroboshi." Which meant that the others had to have been Sagussans, the colonel realizes. "A pity. It seems the phoenix has arisen. No matter. Anything more?" "Yes," she draws out a picture. "We captured someone else with Lum, a Seishin woman. Here's her picture." The photo showed an unconscious woman with red-brown hair laid out in the brig of the small frigate transporting their target back to Phentax Twenty-three. Even if her eyes were closed, her facial features were enough. EVERY Urusian knew who that woman was, even more so than current public figures like Yedris Seq...or Lum. "Noa Aruka," he icily smiles, then hands the photo back. "Did the team examine her? Find anything unusual?" "We found very unusual tattoos on the back of her thighs," the woman reports, smiling. "Just like that notebook warned." "Good," the colonel muses. "Ensure they're not harmed. We'll make the call to Uru in an hour. That's all." "Of course," she bows, then heads out. The colonel smiles as he gazes into the growing evening. Like Triton, Phentax Twenty-three was quite distant from her home stars. Even at high noon, the sky was a very deep blue, the three suns of the Phentax system just large balls of light in the far distance. He didn't care. The plan of the Death to Lum alliance...it didn't really have a name...was going on full steam. So were his own plans. The two women now on their way from Earth were in a sense just bait for a far bigger fish...or in this case, phoenix. * * * The Moroboshi house is quiet, lights off as the familiar chill races through Ataru's empty bedroom. The doors automatically slide open thanks to a special sensor Lum had installed after the first time Oyuki used Ataru's closet as a beam-in point. Snow cascades on the floor as Oyuki emerges, blinking surprisedly on seeing that the room was dark. With what little light still reflected through the warp from Triton's Central Warp Chamber, she heads to the room light switch and turns the overheads on. Behind her, the warp closes off, leaving behind a good pile of snow. Oyuki blinks as her eyes scope the barren room. Save for Ataru's bed, everything was gone. What had happened? "Hello!" the princess calls out. "Lum-chan? Ataru? Are you here? Hello!" The glass door to the patio slides open, revealing Ten-chan. "Oh, hi, Oyuki-chan!" the young Oni smiles on seeing the Tritonian. "Whatcha doing here?" "I came to see Lum-chan," Oyuki turns to him, then blinks on seeing the touch of fear in his eyes. "What has happened?" "I dunno!!" Ten-chan shrugs. "Lum and that a-ho had a big fight, then he chopped off her horns!" "What?!!" Oyuki gapes. "And?!" "Well, I go out to find the idiot, but he was surrounded by a bunch of girls! They didn't let me get close, then...then..." "Then what?" "W-well," Ten-chan fidgets. "One of them calls me naughty, then another chases me off! She was Yehisrite...and she..." "And she...?" Oyuki wonders. "She was a *pirpirsiw'r!*" Ten-chan cries out. "But that's impossible!! They're all dead!" Oyuki's eyes widen. *Not all of them,* her mind automatically amends, reflecting on a passage in Koosei's text. Which meant only one thing. "I see," she looks down. "Where's Lum-chan?" "I dunno," Ten-chan shakes his head. Suddenly, the door to Ataru's room slides open. Ten-chan and Oyuki spin around to see Honey step inside, now dressed in her light green-gold-and-red duty jumpsuit. "Hello," she smiles at the Tritonian princess. "If you're looking for Lum, Oyuki, I'm afraid you're too late. She was just kidnapped by the Niphentaxians." "What?!" Ten-chan cries out, then floats up, his eyes widening as recognition dawns. Even people his age knew who THIS woman was. "Honii-sama...!!!" Oyuki stares at the uniform. Mark One duty jumpsuit colour- coded for someone in Physical Education and Recreation, an officer given her single wreath-of-laurel rank insignia on her wrists. Which, thanks to Ten-chan, meant this was the sister to the woman who had changed Ataru's and Lum's lives long ago. "Aiuoeiioii?" she wonders, hoping she got the Sagussan numbers right. "Actually, it's Honey now," the Sagussan grins, then looks down as other business came up. "All of Sagussa mourns with you today, Oyuki. Koosei was our friend, too." Hearing that causes Oyuki to shudder, fresh grief swelling from the pain which had steadily dulled over the last two days. "Koosei-kun...!!" she sobs, her legs buckling. Honey is already there, allowing the princess the chance to mourn. Ten-chan remains respectfully quiet nearby... * * * "A Remarkable Destiny" a Urusei Yatsura lemon fic by Fred Herriot gorgo@kwangju.net **** **** **** Based on "Urusei Yatsura" created by Rumiko Takahashi **** **** **** NOTE: All standard lemon warnings apply. In the heart of the Union's capital city, Onishuto, stands the beautiful edifice of the Hall of the Union, home to Uru's Tribal Council and her president. It is early morning, the business day already beginning. Around town, Onis fly to and fro to get to work while Seishins and aliens make their way on foot or via ground vehicles. Transports lift off and land from Revolution Spaceport to orbiting warpcraft. Tourists flock to Freedom Square five blocks from the Hall, to gaze upon the scaffold where Syl Aruka met her martyrdom, then stare at the lifelike statue mounted on a pedestal nearby. At the apex of the Hall's central dome, not so different from the Capitol in Washington, were the twin statues for Noa and Honii, holding aloft the orange tiger-striped globe of their homeworld. Gazing at those bronze figures and another statue of Syl placed by the front doors to inspire the masses, Invader smiles as he marches in to start another day. Waiting for him inside was his personal assistant, Lieutenant Negau Renning. While the old Imperial House names were officially frowned upon in government circles, their use within the Tribes was very permissable. "Good morning, Captain," she salutes, then takes his bag. "You're wanted right away in the Council chambers." "Something wrong?" he stares at the diminutive woman. "The President's aide didn't tell me," she shakes her head, adjusting her wide-rim reading glasses. Which bothered the hell out of Negau, Invader grins. She was a young one, barely twenty-one, a pilot who was in Rei's flight class who later showed even better aptitude for administration. Not knowing something, Negau once told him, was more costly than knowing the wrong things. Quite pretty, with one horn on the back of her head barely visible under her close-cropped green hair, Negau was still single. The tabloid press, which were as bad as in the English-speaking parts of Earth, had tried to prove that Negau was Invader's mistress for the last three years. They'd have problems proving that in a court of law, the captain knew; Negau had been picked for the job by Invader's wife! The two marched into the Council chambers, a small circular room right under the Hall's main dome. Overhead, murals depicting the climatic battles of the Union Revolution ran in clockwise order from behind the President's chair, depicting everything from Syl's martyrdom to the abdication of the last Emperor. Invader, as leader of Uru's largest Tribe, had the seat to the President's right. It also had other symbolisms; Invader was directly descent from Emperor Kuppuku Redet, who as a common citizen had sat at this very table beside the first Union President. The other councillors take their seats, their aides standing behind them, then rises as a group as President Lana walks in. Beside him was his personal aide, a UDF Marine captain...and his chief of staff, General Yethis Seq. Invader and Yethis exchange scowls of contempt as the President takes his seat. "Let's get started," Lana sighs. Everyone sits down, aides remaining in place. Lana then gazes at Invader. "I hate to bring such bad news to a Council meeting, Captain, but you'll want to know this," he grits his teeth, then stares at his aide. "Play it!" A holoscreen at one end lights up. It depicts a well-lighted room resembling a prince's court in Imperial days, thought Invader sensed this wasn't anywhere in the Union. At that moment, the camera focuses on the man in the throne-like chair at one end. "It's been a long time, Invader!" he snarls, his hands firmly grasping his walking cane. "Gaylan!!!" Invader cries out, bolting to his feet. Gaylan Poksu toothily smiles, relaxing in his chair. Even lame, the Special Forces colonel seemed in excellent shape, dressed properly in the uniform he had proudly worn for three decades. "This is recorded," he announces. "It'll be taken by cloaked ship to another location before it's transmitted. I hope you're listening, *Lieutenant!* You'll want to hear this!!" Invader trembles, sinking to his chair as dark memories swell up from the pit of his mind. Negau places a reassuring hand on his shoulder. The other councillors and the President send sympathetic glances at their colleague. Who would've wanted to endure what Invader had twenty years ago? Yethis icily smiles. While quite surprised that the old war horse was still alive, he couldn't resist seeing his primary political opponent suffer. "You betrayed me, Invader," Gaylan snarls. "You know what happened on Okusei years ago. The government left my team to die at the Ip'ihu's hands while you pulled our support ships back to prevent an intergalactic incident! I knew it was the wrong thing to do, but I did it anyway, foolish idiot I was! You did too, but what did you do?! Instead of sticking up for what was right, you bowed to the government's wishes, got yourself promoted for making peace with Noukiios, then pretended it didn't happen! My men died for nothing, their fates unknown to their loved ones!! Where was YOUR oath to stand by your comrades even in death, Lieutenant?!!" Invader looks down. He had nightmares of that incident for years. "So you became one of the big shots, huh?!" Gaylan sneers. "Sucked up to the fat-cats in Onishuto and became someone who establishes policy?! What fuckin' policy have you been able to pass without some jerk shooting you down because they were afraid to affect the status quo?! What fuckin' policy have you been able to pass without those Imperial wanna-bes like Yethis Seq...oh, yes, *Major,* I know what you've been up to!...stopping you because they're afraid they wouldn't be able to turn back the clock and have their Empire back?!! You just became a 'crat, Lieutenant!! I'm very disappointed! "And speaking of one of your decisions, look what you almost allowed to happen to Earth!!" Gaylan leans up to the screen. "All to protect your precious little daughter's pride, you nearly let five billion people suffer because you couldn't force that old jerk Upa to get rid of those mushrooms!! I would've wasted the old fool and held his kid at gunpoint to get him to play along! Hell, I just heard the Zephyrites had to get in there with their wind- daisies to keep those damn things from spreading beyond Tokyo!! Ataru Moroboshi didn't have to do a thing; his planet was safe! And speaking of your daughter...!" The image switches to the scene in a brig, a passed out green- haired woman in one of the bunks. "LUM!!!!!!" Invader bellows, leaping to his feet. "You bastard!!!" Gaylan's voice continues. "Since you've allowed the 'crats and the Imperials to run our planet to shit, Lieutenant, I decided the time had come for someone with balls to make some changes in the old home range!" The image switches back to the colonel's mirthless smile. "So, since everyone on Uru these days seems to bow to Lum's every wish, not to mention everyone seeing the little bitch as the next natural leader to our people...I decided the time has come to consider her a menace to Uru...and remove her!" "YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!" Invader screams, ready to leap at the holoscreen and strangle Gaylan to death. "It's time for the weak to be gone," Gaylan continues. "You Unionists wouldn't mind one bit if Lum became the President. Hell, the Imperials are salivating at the chance to make her their pet Empress. I won't say anything about the Democrats; they're still trying to figure out WHAT they want! But as far as I'm concerned, Lieutenant, Lum's the greatest threat Uru has faced since the Dominion! You realize Uru almost found itself at war with Zephyrus because of Earth?! There's no way in hell that I'm going to watch my race get wiped out in a Holy Crusade because of her!" Invader trembles as Negau guides him back to his seat. "Oh, one more thing," Gaylan snaps his fingers. The image returns to the brig, showing a close up of Lum's forehead. "Notice something missing?" the colonel cackles. "By the looks of things, your daughter's having some marital troubles, Lieutenant. Not surprising; I'm sure Ataru Moroboshi wouldn't want to live with the little slut after what she nearly did to his planet! Think about it, Lieutenant!" The screen goes blank. "No...!" Invader gasps, shaking his head. He had thought things between Lum and her husband had got better after the Second Tag Race. But his daughter's horns were gone, way too soon after they grew back in. That meant one thing. "I'll have the 'Kashin' ready for departure," Negau sighs. "No!" Lana holds up his hand. "Mister President, the lieutenant's idea has merit," Yethis stares at his immediate superior. "Regardless of the personal problems the captain's child is suffering, we have to reassert our traditional prerogatives over Earth." "You heard what Gaylan said!!" Colonel Reisho Aruka, Lan's uncle as well as chief of the Akaikaminoke-seishin Clan, barks. "The damn Zephyrites are involved now!" "Do we have proof of that, Colonel?" Yethis smiles. Reisho wasn't in Mamoko's class of administrator, but he was learning. "All we have are a madman's words!" "The Zephyrites have never liked our actions concerning Earth," Reisho asserts. "Shit, I'm not surprised if they sent the Terrans some wind-daisies! Could that idiot Rupa be sure to have cleaned the mushrooms all out when Lum threw the tag race?!" "That's enough!" Lana holds up his hand. "The Zephyrite ambassador has been asked to come visit me in my chambers later today. I will ask His Grace what the Holy Republic's intentions are concerning Earth. In the meantime," he sighs, "I'm sure you'll want to ascertain your daughter's fate, Captain. Lieutenant Negau, signal the 'Kashin.' We'll send that ship to Earth." "We should send a fleet," Yethis insists. "A fleet would be too provocative," Lana stares at his chief of staff. "Fate knows, the Zephyrites won't need much of an excuse to intercede. Captain, you may go." "Thank you, sir," Invader rises... * * * "We caught that titbit somewhere near Gomiana," Eluza points to the starmap, where a bright icon marked where the transmission just seen in Onishuto arose. "Extrapolate a probable course, it would put the ship heading somewhere near Spotak. Given that we're dealing now with a mixed Urusian-Niphentaxian group, it'll be best to wait until we hear something further." Ataru bites his lips. He was now on the "Hasei'cha's" bridge with everyone from Pathfinder Troop Six and the warpsloop's crew. Shinobu had gone home and Honey had remained with Oyuki. It was now an hour before dawn over Tokyo. It had been a restless night; Catty had to give him a sleep aid so he could get some rest. "Given the point of transmission, how slow is this guy going?" "Less than Warp Two," Shildy sighs, shifting her long black hair. "Which makes him totally invisible even to us. This Gaylan character's one smooth customer." "Can we beat him?" Ataru wonders. "We have to know where he is, then get the lay of the ground before we could predict that," Sylia looks sympathetic. "Sorry." The Daimon'cha sighs. It was going to be hell enough when Invader stormed into the system. Lum's powers had been restored when she and Noa had been captured; the colonel must've had her horns chopped off when the Oni was unconscious. Not that these days, he had much reason to worry. If the captain became too unreasonable, Ataru had ways of keeping him from doing something stupid. The U.N. just approved of an extended deployment of the Sagussan Navy in its home space to enforce Earth's sovereign rights as an independent planet. Whoever still thought of his world as having no right to decide its fate by itself would soon get quite the shock should they come in, Ataru snidely muses. Speaking of which. "When'll everyone be here?" Spea plays with a lock of her curly brown hair, her brown eyes flashing dangerously. "In over an hour, Boss," she smiles. "The 'Kashin' won't be here for a day at the most. We'll be long ready should someone try to force the issue." "Good," Ataru nods. "Ataru, I recommend that we have one of the Pathfinder teams, a hovercycle squadron and a couple Warsuit squadrons placed in Tomobiki itself," Eluza adds. "Deploy them around Tomobiki High; it's still effectively closed down with half the students in the hospital. We could have a Gladiator squadron based at your uncle's place in Sendai. We'll keep everything else shipborne for now." *So everyone in Tomobiki would come to realize how powerful I really am,* Ataru concludes. "Do it." "Aye, sir," Eluza smiles, then nods to Spea. The combat officer makes the transmission, then looks up. "Ataru, Honey's calling. She says Oyuki wants to speak to you. How soon will you be going down to see her?" Ataru blinks. "What's her mood?" "A little chilly," Spea warns. "Honey overheard Jariten give Her Royal Highness a mouthful before they went to bed." "Ready to stomp you all in Lum's name," Lufy sneers. "Lyna, they're all alike, aren't they?!" Ataru sighs. Personally, he didn't blame Oyuki for being so mad. She and Lum were close friends, the Tritonian willing to come to the Oni's aid at the drop of a hat. Still, he was in no mood to put up to grief from Lum's friends. "Tell Oyuki I will receive her when I have the time," he stands. "As Sagussa's head-of-state, I can do that. Also tell her that she's NEVER had the right to presume anything about me. And if she continues to believe she has that right, a repeat visit by the Sunin might be required. 'Sides, I think it's time I underwent regeneration. Doctors, at your convenience," he smiles, gracefully bowing to Catty and Pony... * * * "He said THAT?!?!" Ten-chan cries out. Honey nods, taking some snide pleasure at the shocked looks on their faces. She was very sympathetic to Oyuki's sufferings...not to mention aroused by the Tritonian princess' regal beauty, which was positively breathtaking. But Oyuki, like all of Lum's friends, had never found it in herself to like the Oni being with Ataru. That, no Daishi'cha worth her salt would ever forgive. And Ten- chan? Well, rei'cha had to grow up sooner or later. "That's right," the physical education instructor smiles. "Whatever happens between Ataru and Lum is really none of your business...either of yours," she glares at Ten-chan. "We know what to expect from you people. It's always Lum's sufferings that count. Ataru's count only when it conveniences you and that usually is when Lum has to beg for your help. Well, Ataru doesn't have to take that anymore. I just heard that the U.N. is seriously considering a ban against ALL Federation citizens from living on Earth. I suggest you keep that in mind from now on." Oyuki's eyes widen as she interprets that message. Even after Koosei's book had revealed it all, she had become quite angry over what Ten-chan had told her. After all Lum had endured because of Ataru, he had the gall to do THAT to her?! Yet...what would happen now? Ataru WAS a head-of-state, elected by the most direct form of democracy conceivable...and with a universal approval rating. How could any of Lum's friends fight something like that? "I see," she then looks down. Now for the carrot, Honey smiles. "Oyuki-san, I can say that Ataru was saddened to hear of Koosei's loss. He would've liked to have met him; after all, the Ryookis did live behind the Moroboshis until his parents passed away." Oyuki blinks, then nods, a light smile creeping into her mouth. "Thank you, Honey-san. May I ask what will happen now?" Before Honey can answer, a distant rumble echoes through the streets of Tomobiki. Everyone gets up and heads to the window. Honey automatically looks up, then smiles. "What's that?!!" Ten- chan cries out surprisedly. Now hovering over Tokyo is a box-like ship five kilometres long, a giant hangar bay open to allow a mass of small flecks to emerge. "One of our Warsuit carriers," Honey reports. "They're landing a couple of squadrons and a Pathfinder team in case someone decides to push the matter. Should make the citizens happy." Oyuki and Ten-chan exchange surprised looks... * * * "The Young Master is awake!" The Kuromegane breathe out in relief as a half-dozen or so head inside Mendou's vast bedroom. Their employer is now sitting up in his bed, most of his body still swathed in casts and bandages after those monsters had their way with him. All investigations toward finding out who they were had been halted when a subtle hint from Toranoseishin Finances warned that further funds for Mendou's private bodyguards would be withdrawn if they didn't stop sticking their noses where they didn't belong. "Report," Mendou sighs. "Sir, it is good to see you awake," the leader of the team bows. "Begging to report. Most of your classmates are still in Tomobiki General Hospital. Investigations ascertaining as to the identity of your assailants have been stopped, unfortunately." Mendou grits his teeth, quickly understanding what he meant. Damn Reigi Yumoa! The chief of operations at Toranoseishin seemed to love torturing Mendou, threatening him with denying the use of the Kuromegane or the Mendou armed forces; Toranoseishin Finances loaned all the capital needed to keep them running. It always seemed to happen whenever Ataru did something which really got Mendou mad. There had to be a connection somehow, but Mendou had yet to figure out what. "What else? What about Lum-san?" "We've not seen Lum-san since her last visit to the hospital yesterday afternoon, sir," another bows. "We have also learned that the fiancee to Princess Oyuki was killed a week ago." "What?!" Mendou gasps, then frowns. "If you see Oyuki-sama, please pass her my sincerest condolences at her loss. I will do so myself when I am fully recovered. What about Moroboshi?" "We lost track of Master Moroboshi two days ago, sir," a third reports. "However, we've taken notice of a small group of alien women who arrived in Tomobiki about the same time. We saw three with Mistress Shinobu yesterday, but couldn't ascertain their identity or their purpose for being in Tomobiki." "Alien women?" Mendou's brow furrows. "What could it be this time?! Is that it?" "Yes, sir," the leader bows. The door then opens, revealing the commander of the Mendou Air Corps. "Sir, begging to report," he salutes his employer. "The government has ordered the complete shutdown of Tokyo airspace to all local traffic. All aircraft are grounded for the duration." "What?!!" Mendou exclaims. "Who ordered this?!" "Unknown, sir..." the commander begins... ...then everyone is rocked off their feet as a flight of four Gladiators, Boeing 747-sized one-pilot transformable fighter jets shaped like the Grumman F-14 Tomcat, buzzes the Mendou mansion at fifty metres, blowing out all the windows with their sonic boom!! * * * Across Tomobiki, Shinobu is awakened by the rumble of the Warsuit carrier's impulse drive. Staring out the window, she gazes in awe at the giant Sagussan landing ship. It maintains a high altitude, probably to not disturb civilian air traffic. Turning on the radio, she heads a report from NHK announcing that Earth was making official contact with another race, the Fifth Republic of Sagussa. Details were sketchy at this time, but the likelihood was that Earth and Sagussa would become allies, probably to ensure that incidents like the Second Tag Race were never to occur again. Citizens were to remain calm and welcome the alien warriors, who had come to avert a possible intergalactic incident, cordially. Smiling, she turns to the small altar she kept beside her bed, taking a small crucifix in hand as she prays. "Blessed Lord, thank You for bringing these, Your daughters of Sagussa, to bring peace and harmony to our troubled lives. Watch over them, I beseech Thee. Please watch over Ataru-kun, too. He'll need Your guidance most of all. In the name of Your Beloved Son, Jesu Cristo...amen." She turns back to the window, wondering if the Sagussans had someone like Jesus whom they prayed to... * * * "Look at that!!" Kakugari points. "Awesome!!!" "Cool!!" Chibi whistles. "Who are these guys?!" "Fuck, how'd the U.N. get to know them?!!" Paama exclaims. "Who cares?!" Megane laughs. "This is great!!!" The bodyguards were now at the window of their ward, gazing outside awestruck as the Warsuits, ten-metre tall labor-like robots armed to the teeth in guns and missiles, landed around Tomobiki High School and several remote street corners. NHK was making the official announcement over their radio, but the four didn't care. This was worlds better than even the time they watched the Urusians and the Ellsians square off over Ataru. And they would be here for some time, the radio said. Fantastic! Next door, Benten grits her teeth as her eyes remain locked on the orbiting landing ship. Whoever these jokers were, they had max firepower and looked very committed. That crack on the radio about a possible alliance between Earth and these people didn't escape her attention either. She knew the security implications for the Federation. If this system fell under the control of anyone else, even the Zephyrites, the Federation was effectively cut in half. It had become easier over the years as the Dominion's power waned, but with the Ipraedies advancing to press their own ends, the Federation had to be forever vigilant. "Someone's got to get the word out on these characters," she mutters to herself; Lan and Rei were still knocked out. "Someone better do it fuckin' fast before all hell breaks loose!" * * * For Ryuunosuke, hell HAD broke loose! She and Nagisa had just got up when that ominous thunder had shook the town. Looking outside from her futon, Ryuunosuke had been knocked off her feet when a Warsuit landed on the front walkway. By the time they were dressed, a troop of the suckers were on ground, their pilots and support ground crew already out to set up a command tent by the gymnasium. Of course, with her father in hospital, Ryuunosuke was easily distracted by the Sagussans to carry on her morning chores. Who wouldn't be? Eight o'clock rolls around. Classes were loosely scheduled due to the absence of almost half the student population, so the teachers were taking it easy coming in. The Principal, Kotatsuneko at his side, was the first. "Oh, my!" the school administrator adjusts his glasses. "I've never seen such industrious people in all my years. A pity this doesn't happen more often. Wouldn't you agree, Kota-chan?" The cat-ghost nods, puffing his pipe, then blinks on seeing a large sandpanther relaxing on the grass beside some blonde-haired woman giving orders. The alien feline stares at his ghostly Terran brother, then roars a message to his pet. She looks right, then smiling, walks up. "You the thoughtmaster-prime?" she wonders. The Principal blinks, then smiles. "Yes, I am. Are you the leader of the group joining us for the next while?" "That's right," she smiles, offering her hand. "Squadron Commander Deunan, officer commanding Delta Squadron, Sagussan Defence Force Warsuit Brigade." "A pleasure, Squadron Commander," the Principal shakes her hand, then smiles at his friend. "And this is my friend Kota- chan...Kotatsuneko. He's my companion at tea times." Deunan smiles. "Suit yourself." *Takes all types, I guess,* she mentally adds. "Anyhow, we'll be setting up shop on the lawn here. We'll try to keep out of your way as best we can; we've no idea how long we'll be here." "Of course; make yourself comfortable," the Principal smiles, then notices Ryuunosuke walk up with some garbage bags. "Ah, Fujinami-kun, good morning. Your father still in hospital?" "Yeah!!" Ryuunosuke grunts, then nods at Deunan. "Hi! I'm Ryuunosuke Fujinami. My dad's the janitor here." "Hi," Deunan's voice scornfully drips her displeasure. While not as bad as some of the others she heard came to this place, Ryuunosuke had gained Sagussa's attention. "Please excuse me." Ryuunosuke shivers as the Terran-born Warsuit commander walks away. What had got her so mad? She had heard these were aliens; the old radio in their apartment was one of the Fujinamis' prize possessions. Yet Deunan looked as if she was from Western Europe with her shaggy honey-blonde hair that dipped to her shoulder, brown eyes and trim build. She wore a patch over her left eye, yet her face was totally unmarked. What type of aliens were these?! At that moment, another woman walks up from her own command tent. This was definitely an alien, from Benten's race. Worlds friendlier too. "Hi!!" she offers her hand. "Sorry about Deunan; she can be a grouch at times. I'm Hitomi, OC Alpha Squadron." Even with a Japanese name, Ryuunosuke smiles as she shakes Hitomi's hand. Her black hair went to her shoulders, straight as an arrow. Her brown eyes flashed mischievously. Even more strange, over her blue-and-red combat uniform with silver combat trousers, she wore a white sash chain just like Benten's and chain- link earrings. Even had a grip of steel for such a slim girl, the tomboy winces as she tries not to show any physical discomfort. "Oh, sorry!" Hitomi blushes. "Sometimes, I forget my own strength!! Anyhow, I gotta get back to work! 'Bye!!" She heads back to her command tent. By then, the Principal and Kotatsuneko have made it inside. Onsen was arriving along with Sakura. The newly-promoted vice-principal gapes in shock and anger at the bustling Sagussans. "Who gave THEM the right to take over the school?!!" he bellows to no one in particular. Sakura was just as amazed, though there was something quite familiar about these women...women?! Glancing around, she takes a head-count. All women! Some were quite tall even by Western standards. Others were more normal in stature. They were all young, ranging from early teens to mid-twenties. That didn't discount their beauty; there wasn't an ugly face in the lot! A disorientating mix of races: Terrans, Onis, Seishins, Tritonians, Fukunokami, Ellsians, Tengu, Tofunokoibito, Yaminokuni and many races she didn't begin to recognize. Yet there was not a single man in sight. This was strange...and potentially ominous, if the signs in her teacup that morning were an indication. "Who are these people, Sakura-sensei?" Ryuunosuke wonders. "I don't know," the nurse bites her lips. "But whoever they are, their coming will forever alter our destinies." "As bad as Lum's people?" "Worse. Much worse." Their attention is distracted by Onsen's shouting. The vice- principal was now facing Deunan. Her sandpanther was lounging under a tree, ignoring the stupid mite bothering her pet. She could handle him. "I don't know who you people are, but if you think you can disrupt this school's proper operation, young lady, think again!!! I will not allow your people to disrupt classes while they are in session!!" Deunan rolls her eyes. THIS loud-mouthed mei'ne was number three on the short list of Daimon'cha/Daite'cha candidates? Thank Lyna they went with Ataru. "I'll be more than happy to ensure my pilots leave your students alone!" she calmly reaches to her side to draw her special combat knife from its sheath, absently patting its serrated edge with her fingers. "But remember this, buster! Your lives are now in our hands and when the shit starts flying, we're not gonna be nice about it!! We're up against some really bad customers here who wouldn't think twice about turning this nice world of yours into a smoking cinder, so I *suggest* you keep a civil tongue whenever you speak to me about our arrangements!!" Onsen sweats fearfully on seeing her knife, then quickly beats a fast retreat. "Nice one, Deunan!" Hitomi flashes her the thumbs- up from across the way. Deunan smiles as she re-sheathes her knife, then starts to bark at her people. By then, Shinobu has arrived. It was strange coming to school these days; she and Ryuunosuke were the only ones capable of making it to class. Seeing the Warsuits and their pilots, she contently smiles. "Good morning, Sakura-sensei, Ryuunosuke-chan. Nice day, isn't it?" "How can you be so cheerful?!" Ryuunosuke wonders, staring at her friend. "You realize what this means, don't you?!" "Yes, I do," Shinobu breathes in. "Finally, there's someone from out there who cares for what WE think! It's about time!!" At that moment, a transporter beams materializes Sylia in at the front gate. In duty jumpsuit, she walks onto the property, then smiles. "Good morning, Shinobu. Sleep well last night?" "Oh, good morning, Sylia," Shinobu bows, smiling at her new friend. "I slept like a baby. You?" "Not really; we pulled an all-nighter," Sylia stifles a yawn. "I'll catch a couple of hours later. Deunan!" "Sylia!" Deunan readily smiles on seeing her fellow squadron commander. "What's the news from upstairs?" "You're Tomobiki Ground Force Commander," Sylia announces. "Ataru wants you to get a defence plan whipped up ASAP." Sakura and Ryuunosuke exchange shocked looks. Shinobu winces. Subtlety was something the Sagussans needed to learn very quickly. "I'll get to it," Deunan nods. "How long will he be in regen?" "A day, then two in isolation as Catty and Pony speed-train him in the use of his powers," Sylia sighs. "Nice!" Deunan smiles. "Hey, can we use Mendou's army for target practice while we're waiting?!" "I'll ask him," Sylia laughs. "Besides, Ataru's family pays for all that. Might as well put it to some real use. Later!" "You, too," Deunan gets back to work. Shinobu notices the stunned looks on her friends' faces, then sees Sylia's secret smile. Oh, now she understood! They were under orders to drop some hints about Ataru. Hopefully, they'll stay quiet about what happened to Lum and Noa. Ignoring Sakura and Ryuunosuke, she walks up to the Pathfinder commander. "Sylia, any news on our friends?" she inquires. The Sagussan warrior smiles. "Nothing yet. The one who took them send a message to one's father just now. It wasn't enough to triangulate a location. Right now, it's just wait-and-see. Don't worry. Instant Noa wakes up, she could flash an SOS through the Dreamscape to tell us where they are." "Thank you, God," Shinobu grips her hands in prayer, her voice dropping to a whisper. Sylia then yawns. "Oh, my, I am tired!" she shakes her head. "I'm going to the 'Kiboo'cha' to lay down. Can I meet you sometime after school? We can go out and get some coffee." "I'll be at the front gate," Shinobu promises. "Fair enough," Sylia taps her wrist-bracelet. "Until then." She disappears in a transporter beam. Shinobu smiles, then turns to see Sakura and Ryuunosuke glaring at her. "What's with you two?" Ataru's former girlfriend wonders. "Shinobu, what the fuck's going on here?!" the tomboy angrily demands. "What does Ataru have to do with these people?!!" she thumbs the members of Hitomi's squadron, who were now forming up by their command tent for a pep talk. "Shhh!" Shinobu shushes them; more students were arriving. "Not here. Your apartment, Ryuunosuke. We'll talk there." * * * "Such a display of force is bound to anger someone sooner or later," Oyuki muses as she gazes on Tomobiki from Ataru's bedroom. By now, Second Hovercycle Squadron was setting up camp in one end of the district park. The other end was taken by Pathfinder Team Two. The Warsuit carrier had proceeded back into orbit after dropping Deunan's and Hitomi's squadron. Warsuit pairs were now camping out throughout Tomobiki, their unique shapes visible over the one and two-storey homes. Overhead, Gladiators of the Third Defence Squadron, now flying from Sendai, flew relays at ten thousand metres over Tokyo, far above local civilian traffic taking off and landing from Narita. It was in orbit where the Sagussans had placed the lion's share of their combat strength. Morning news shows now flashed pictures from NASA showing off the different Sagussan ships. Honey had been more specific. There were five fully operational combat vessels: the command cruiser "Lyna'cha" and four defence monitors from the Fourth Sagussan Fleet. Four Warsuit carriers assigned to Second Fleet. Two warpshuttles, fast couriers with little decent firepower for ship-to-ship combat but were excellent at space interdiction. The "Hasei'cha" and Pathfinder Troop Six's command ship "Kiboo'cha." Four hundred Gladiators all together. Two hundred hovercycles. A thousand Warsuits. Two hundred Pathfinders for ground troops. The Gatherer...Oyuki still thought "Eternal Voyager" when she mentally visualized that legendary craft...was three days from joining the force now over Earth. Henry, the Gatherer's central computer, was insanely independent, spending most of his time exploring some untouched corner of the galaxy or helping pregnant starwhales give birth. Honey even told Oyuki that the local starwhale population had nicknamed the superdreadnought "Onii-chan" for all the times he had protected them from poachers. *It's always the little things that surprise you,* the princess muses. Honey then comes in, a tray of tea in hand. "How are you doing?" the physical education instructor smiles. Oyuki sits beside the Sagussan. "Pukaze-chan must be having a stroke right now," she nods as Honey gives her a cup. "Are you sure you're doing the right thing? Who would possibly want to threaten Earth?" "Loads of people as you well know," Honey smiles. "The Dominion and the Ipraedies for starters. Uru's Imperial faction would love to conquer this place; Ataru hasn't heard about that little clause in the First Tag Race agreement concerning a re- running if he ever was killed...yet. Atop that, we can't dismiss a move by Oogi. If Gaylan and his friends sing out that they have Noa and that kimei'ne puts it all together...it's possible...he'd attack Earth just to get his hands on Ataru. And that doesn't mention anyone else who'd want to get our power by getting Ataru." "Unfortunately," Oyuki sighs. "I wonder how much Colonel Gaylan learned from Koosei-kun before he...before he..." Honey catches Oyuki's tea cup, then draws the sobbing princess into an embrace. "There, there, Oyuki-chan. It's okay. It's okay. Let it out. It's the best thing for you." "Koosei-kun...!!" Oyuki burbles. Silence descends, interrupted by Oyuki's wails. Honey gently rocks herself, soothing the weeping princess with soft words. At the same time, the Sagussan does her best to keep her own hormones under control. Lyna, the woman was worlds better than anyone she had ever met! Suddenly, Honey faces that decision all Sagussans face when confronting a potential marei'cha. Does she? Doesn't she? What should she do? Oyuki was mourning her lover's loss. On Sagussa, especially when one's mei'na is lost to the Te'a before tre'cha could preserve one's memories for future generations, everyone would gather around the bereaved and join in a group mind-meld to heal their stricken friend. During these times, an unbonded person would be inserted into the meld, someone carefully chosen by the bereaved's friends to take the deceased's place. Almost every time, that resulted into a new marei'cha bond. Every fibre of Honey's being demanded that she place herself in that position, offer herself to heal Oyuki's wounds, help the princess regain her sense of self. That was why she was here now, had turned away from going after Shinobu to be at Oyuki's side. Besides, it would give Sylia a shot at Ataru's former girlfriend; Honey had sensed the Pathfinder's attraction the instant she and Shinobu met. Honey no longer cared; Oyuki was her problem now. Suddenly, Honey feels someone's soft lips caress hers, a surprisingly warm arm slip around her neck. Her eyes widen on seeing Oyuki deliver that kiss, then her hormones kick in as she gently draws the princess onto her lap. Lyna's Soul, were Koosei's notes on Sagussa THAT thorough?! She'd have to see that book! They break away. Oyuki smiles. "I was curious," her pale face suddenly flushes. "I understand what you people think is proper when situations like mine occur; Koosei-kun was very thorough when he described your cultural mores. Thank you, Honey- san, for being so considerate with me." "Oyuki-chan..." Honey feels tears stinging her eyes. "Honey-chan...do you desire me?" The Sagussan feels a lump the size of Sagurei in her throat. Her people applauded straightforwardness, but it was surprising coming from the Tritonian. "Yes," Honey breathes out, feeling her heart accelerate to light speed. "As much as Noa wants Lum." "What?!" Oyuki's eyes go wide. Honey laughs. "C'mon, Oyuki-chan, you know how Lum and Ataru were bonded! That bond reflects in my sister, especially after she and Ataru did the tamgh va ragh a couple nights ago!!" Oyuki crosses her arms. "Oh, he's hopeless!" she pouts. "When was Lum-chan supposed to have her south gate pierced?!" "Ataru could've done it last night," Honey admits. "Once he cooled off, all he wanted to do was make up to her. Sadly, Gaylan and the Niphentaxians had other ideas." "Thank the Fates," Oyuki sighs. "I wonder if Ataru has ever realized how much he means to Lum." "That's for Ataru and Lum to figure out, Oyuki-chan," Honey sighs. "The big problem you all have is that you assume you have the right to dictate how Ataru will behave. That's not fair, not to you and especially not to him. That's why he's so angry. Yes, Lum had something to do about it. Yes, he got angry at her...a little too much, admittedly. And yes, he wants to make up to her, but he knows he has to respect her freedom of choice, just like he wants her to respect his. If Lum chooses Tomobiki over Sagussa, Ataru'll accept it...and be pretty heartbroken." "I see," Oyuki looks down. "For so long, he acted as if Lum- chan never mattered. It made me so angry at times. Yet...to hear about his grandmother and all that...I don't know what to think." "I think you should stop worrying about things you can't control, Oyuki-chan," Honey taps her on the forehead. "Let Ataru, Noa and Lum worry about Nagaiwakai. You've got more pressing matters on your plate right now." Oyuki nods, then smiles. "Including you." "Oyuki-chan..." "Honey-chan...do you have a cure for a headache?" The Sagussan's green eyes go wide. "Do you have any idea what you just asked?!" Oyuki responds with a very wet kiss. *Guess so!* Honey's heart skips a beat, then she draws the princess close. "We can't do it here," she purrs. "Let's go to Noa's place. We don't want Ten-chan tripping in on us, do we?" "Of course not," the Tritonian growls as the Sagussan taps her personal communicator to get the "Hasei'cha" to beam them over... * * * A moment later, the two sweep into Noa's apartment. Oyuki gapes awestruck at the beautiful studio flat. "She actually owns this place?" she turns to Honey. "Oh, yeah!" Honey smiles as she heads into the kitchen, opening the fridge and checking out the bottles of wine. Noa loved that as much as she did chocolate. "The SCAA come by every once in a while to check the place out." "How many times has Noa-san been here?" "About once a year since we brought Ataru back," Honey draws out an unopened, aged Chateau Sainte-Michelle. Taking two glasses, she pops the cork, pours the drinks, then walks back out. "Here you are," she hands one to Oyuki. Oyuki smiles. Honey must've sensed the Tritonian's love for Earth wines. They toast each other, then drink. The Sagussan heads over to the stereo, checks the selection, then picks out a popular anime BGM. "Noa's addicted to watching anime, so most of her music comes from that direction." "Any classical music?" Honey blinks, then finds another disc. "Ah, here's some Celtic instrumental music. Want that?" "I've never heard it before." Honey slips out the CD, then puts it into the player. The sparkle of water echoes from the speakers...Noa was very much into New Age music and nature sounds...then is joined in by a single mandolin and a flute. Traditional Sagussan music, from Anghya to Lyna, was of the same type. Pity so few recordings had survived the Clone Rights War though the lyrics survived. The Daishi'cha could record the music themselves, yet they always felt that they were...missing something. Hence, the thirst for alien music, especially stuff from Earth. Returning back to Oyuki, Honey guides her to the large bed located in the centre of the apartment. Sitting down, both tap their glasses, then drink. Biting her lips, the Tritonian places her glass down, then stares at Honey's jersey. "How does this undo?" she reaches over to the "W" of the deep neck cut which dipped below the Sagussan's ample breasts. "Hey, let me do that," Honey smiles, reaching up to guide Oyuki's hands to her collars. The jumpsuits had no zippers or velcro enclosures. For the one-piece civilian duty suit, you had to pull the collars apart, then slide the cloth off the shoulders. With a tug, Oyuki pulls the green-and-gold cloth away, drawing it down past her elbows, then gazes at her breasts. Oyuki had never seen someone so well-endowed. People like Lum, Benten and Lan were slender by most people's standards. Shinobu was slimmer upstairs but nicely flared in the hips. Sakura, like the princess, had quite a beautiful body, but she and Oyuki were both tall and slender. Ryuunosuke supposedly had nice breasts, but keeping them bound up all the time, few ever noticed. Honey's were two perfectly spherical mounds of flesh too big for Oyuki's hands, her small nipples providing quite a contrast. "Beautiful!" she gasps. "Thank you," Honey keys the hidden switch to unsnap her wrist- bracelets, then slips her arms out. They immediately go to Oyuki's obi, untying that. Gently rolling the cloth and placing it on the floor, she tugs at the kimono. Oyuki shifts to allow the cloth to slip off her shoulders, revealing her strapless ice-pattern one- piece. Oyuki stands to allow Honey to slip the kimono clear, then place it aside. Once that happens, the princess sits back-first to the physical education instructor, pulling up her ponytail. Honey blinks; she hadn't noticed that Oyuki's hair had melted, now revealing its beautiful deep silver locks for all to see. Finding the velcro seams, Honey tugs at the fabric, allowing it to part. A kiss follows, then more of the seam is undone, then another kiss. Oyuki shudders as kisses trail down her back. This was a wonderful seduction! Finally, with the suit undone to the small of the back, Honey reaches around and tugs the fabric down up front, freeing Oyuki's meijasha for the Sagussan's inspection. Oyuki lays back into Honey's gentle embrace, her shoulder touching something very soft, yet with a hardening point. A shot of electricity lashes through her nervous system. She purrs as more delightful bolts lance through her breasts as Honey begins to caress them. She looks right, finding Honey's lips waiting for her. Their next kiss is gentle yet full of passion, their tongues stroking the other's and each other's teeth. "I can't believe I'm doing this," Oyuki moans. Honey pulls away, confusion and concern in her eyes. "Are you nervous?" she shifts her hands to the Tritonian's shoulders. "We can stop if you want. We don't have to go all the way, you know." Oyuki wanted to cry. Even now, she was being given a choice. Reaching over, she strokes the sides of the Sagussan's nose. "Do you want to know why I want Ataru and Lum-chan to be together?" "Tell me." The princess frowns. "As someone who can now live as long as I, you can guess what it feels like when we gain short-lived friends. Koosei-kun was lucky thanks to what the Vosians did to him, but he still would've died before I passed middle age. But Lum-chan and Benten-chan...they'll be dead in a century, not even close to one-half of a Neptunian year. If Lum-chan and Noa-chan become bond-mates, Lum-chan'll become a Sagussan, won't she?" "That'll be her right," Honey nods, then smiles. "You really are lonely, aren't you?" "Hai," Oyuki nods. "Even more so at times than Benten. She has the option of whatever life she wishes to pursue. I'm...very restricted by what I can do given who I was born from. It's very frustrating at times. Koosei-kun offered a release for me...but now it's gone...and now, I have you." Honey closes her eyes to dam her tears. Oh, Lyna, hearing that made Oyuki more attractive than ever! Without hesitation, she draws the princess into another deep kiss, holding her tight as if she was defending Oyuki from the dark fate which seemed ready to swallow her wholesale. Oyuki blinks in surprise as Honey twists around, placing the princess back-first to the mattress. She never expected her story to elicit THIS type of reaction from the Sagussan. However, Honey's hands were already attacking her swimsuit, moving to remove it completely from her. Without thinking, her hands dart to the bundled green cloth at Honey's waist, shoving it down past her hips. Clumsily, both giggle as they break apart, then slip off their boots before sliding off their clothes, then return to laying face-to-face on their sides. Being conditioned to appreciate any humanoid regardless of gender, Honey gets another lump in her throat upon gazing at Oyuki's pale, flawless skin. Her meijasha were smaller, about Noa's size, but just as perky. No excess body fat. No namghsupgh either; Tritonians, even those whose hair never traditionally froze due to a curious side-effect of their cold powers, had no body hair beyond the head. It was clear road down Oyuki's front from north gate to south. Honey couldn't wait to taste and kiss it all. Oyuki finds herself in awe of Honey's well-exercised form. Not bodybuilder-muscular like a Gophentaxian, but you could see the ridges marking the lines of her deltoids, abdominals and quads. She was a real redhead, too, the princess muses on seeing that small mound of hair around her groin. A touch of fear then races up her spine. She had never come this close to another woman before intent on making love to her. She'd certainly not think of it when she was with Lum, Lan or Benten in a bathhouse, certainly not with her wanton and fickle first cousin back in Koori City. But Lum, Lan, Benten or Toji weren't Honey. They drift into another embrace, their lips instinctively finding the other's. Honey's hands then dart to Oyuki's meijasha to caress them anew. The Tritonian gasps, then reaches up to play with the Sagussan's nipples, get them really hard. Honey shudders. Pity Oyuki didn't have a Sagussan's mental powers, but that might soon change, especially if they decide to make this permanent. Well, she'll just have to sit back and experience it. Before Honey could lean down to suckle, Oyuki breaks away, then sides down herself to get at her nipples. Honey relaxes, allowing the princess to have her way. They were about the same height, so they'd have to sit up for Honey to get at Oyuki's south gate. Drawing one arm around her shoulder, Honey lifts the princess into a sitting position, allowing Oyuki to lay in the crook of her left arm while her right hand dives for honey. Oyuki kept Honey's nipple in place with her lips while her tongue flecked at the end, her free hand caressing the Sagussan's other breast. A jolt of beautiful pleasure then fires up from her groin as Honey gongs her tower with her fingers, then slips into her moistening gate. The fingers dance all the way in, becoming quite lubricated as the palm kept pressing down on her tower. A pause in the stroking catches Oyuki's attention. Pulling away from Honey's mound, she smiles apologetically. "Koosei got to you, huh?" Honey gazes knowingly at her. Oyuki nods, then smiling lasciviously, her own hands dive for Honey's south gate. The Sagussan gently shifts herself to give the princess better access. Honey gasps as Oyuki's fingers stroke her tower, then slip into the gate. A second later, they tap her door. "Ah!!" Oyuki gently licks Honey's love juices. "Your door's still up. I guess I'll have to knock it down." "How?" Honey blinks. "You don't have the right sort of equipment; doing it with just fingers is a bit uncomfortable." Oyuki laughs as she stands up, turning away. Her hands fall over her groin as she concentrates. Honey watches her for a second, noticing that the princess' hair was freezing up again. Her eyes don't notice a subtle change in the skin around Oyuki's hips. After a moment, Oyuki turns around. "Will this do?" "Lyna!!" Honey gapes. Now wrapped around her body was a pair of panties made of solid ice...with a beautiful namghsuyang of frozen water sticking out at a perfect angle. Oyuki had made it quite large; probably, that's how big Koosei was when he was fully aroused. Honey hoped her own gate could take that monster. Laying back, she spreads her legs to invite the frozen treat into her quivering gate. Oyuki gingerly kneels between her calves, placing her ice dildo right over target, then she gently pushes in. Honey cries out as the waves of intense cold lash through her gate. She almost spasms right there, but fights it down long enough to allow the princess the chance to get all the way in. Oyuki grits her teeth as she tries to find some leverage to give Honey the maximum amount of pleasure. A woman was never meant to do this, she reminds herself, then placing her weight on her knees, she draws Honey's body closer to her, then shoves in. The Sagussan screams out as the icy ram lances deeper into her gate, then taps her door. "Is that it...?" Oyuki grits her teeth. Honey responds by wrapping her legs around Oyuki's posterior, then shoving the princess in further. A sharp pain shoots up as her door is smashed down, then it dulls out as friction begins to melt Oyuki's ice ram. Without hesitation, she pulls Oyuki's face to hers, wrapping her in a tight embrace as she begins to gyrate her hips to get the maximum amount of pleasure she could before Oyuki's ram returned to its pre-frozen state. Oyuki gasps as Honey's skin seemingly becomes alive with hundreds of sparks lancing into her own nervous system. That didn't count the wonderful feeling her clit produced every time her ice panties rubbed against it. From north gate to south, Honey was assaulting her as only a Sagussan could, charging the Tritonian's nervous system with a torrent of psi-energy that was just as wonderful as a man penetrating her, even more so! Oh, Fates, was THIS what Ataru had experienced, what Lum might've experienced before she and Noa were kidnapped?! Gazing into Honey's passionate eyes, Oyuki reaches a moment of understanding. Experiencing this, the most erotic high a Sagussan could endure, the Tritonian feels a slight sense of dislocation. As if everything before her seemed meaningless. No wonder Ataru had transformed so suddenly. How could his past failures compare to such total rapture? And he would soon be able to deliver what he had received to whomever he wanted. Joy would be replicated and replicated again and again until it filled him to bursting. He couldn't break away from Sagussa after experiencing that. And neither could Oyuki. "Bond with me, Honey-chan." * * * An hour later, Oyuki's eyes flutter open as she feels a damp spot somewhere under her right hip. Honey's sweaty body was in her embrace, the musky odour of their lovemaking drowning their noses with their sweet yet sour smell. Honey's eyes were fluttering open, then she glances down. "We better get the sheets changed," she notices the damp spot beside their hips. "Noa'll kill me if she finds wrecked sheets on her bed." Oyuki titters, then stops as she senses...a warmth inside her. Looking around, she feels the warmth fade...then as her eyes lock on the Sagussan's, the warmth builds to the point where it seemed to flood her soul with love. Oh, Lyna...why was she calling on HER for?!...this was so wonderful. So perfect. So perfect... "Do vanan'cha...marei'cha-Honey." Honey smiles, then they kiss. "Do vanan'cha...marei'cha-Oyuki." * * * To be continued...^Z
